> We first hired Ron to do a kitchen and two bathroom remodel at our home in Lincoln Village West over 20 years ago, on recommendations from friends.  He was easy to work with, had excellent sub contractors, and helped us with selection and purchase of new kitchen appliances and bathroom fixtures.  His rates were reasonable and his workmanship was the highest quality.  Since then we have asked Ron to come back a number of times for smaller jobs from structural repair to electrical and plumbing, and his work continues to be excellent.  We have referred Ron to a number of our family members and friends over the years and all have become great fans of Ron and Avalon Builders.

> I have been lucky enough to have Ron Dircksen of Avalon Builders helping me with house projects for nine years. I often recommend him to others, as he is honest, reliable, and very knowledgeable about all aspects of building. The fact that he's a wonderful person and doesn't condescend to women--as some contractors do—has made him my go-to person. Ron has either supervised or done the work himself on just about all my home improvements and maintenance: plumbing, painting, roofing, replacing flooring, dealing with dry rot, and so on. When a burglar kicked in my door and I was out of town, Ron was at the house right away to board up the door. Later, he did a meticulous job of fixing the area around the door frame. I trust Ron so much that he has a key to my house, should anything else happen while I'm away (like roof leaks). He deserves my unqualified recommendation!
