We focus on the quality custom building of homes and commercial projects. We maintain a crew of 18-20 expert carpenters on staff who can handle all types of projects.

Our team prides itself on our 45+ years of outstanding craftsmanship and customer service (We often tell our clients proudly that we have seen just about every possible configuration and can handle any challenge an architect throws at us.). Our goal is to end up as close to perfection as is humanly possible, with the intention of giving our clients more than their dollar back in the quality of their home.

Our philosophy has always been simple: Give every client, big or small, the best help and the best service possible. It’s why we work on projects ranging from large scale grand homes, to smaller projects like dog houses and even fixing the occasional screen door.

It’s our belief that the person that needs a small fix today may need a new home tomorrow.

Most importantly, we believe that building a home does not have to be a nightmare (It can actually be an adventure). It’s why we always aim to remain friends with all our clients even after the project is complete.

Sue, Erling and Jim have worked together for many years in the contruction business here in the Santa Ynez Valley and neighboring communities.
