> We hired Sudlow Concrete to pour three slabs and two gate pillars on our property and couldn’t be happier. After contacting a dozen companies, they were the only ones that showed up, and kept their word from proposal to completion. The team was professional, experienced, and a pleasure to work with. They cleaned up thoroughly and left the property extremely tidy. The finished work looks excellent — we’re very pleased and highly recommend Sudlow Concrete.

> We recently hired Sudlow Concrete for a driveway and sidewalk replacement project, and we couldn’t be happier. We worked directly with the owner of the company, who was easily the friendliest contact we could have asked for—it’s so rare in my experience to get to work directly with the business owner like that! Communication throughout the entire process was top-notch. When bad weather required us to reschedule, they were incredibly accommodating and worked seamlessly around my schedule constraints. On top of that, the crew was extremely careful to protect our surrounding property and existing structures during the job. Highly recommend!

> Horrible experience working with Sudlow concrete. No regard for customer. Finished product was extremely bad. I can’t imagine a more painstaking experience as a customer especially with such a large and expensive concrete work done.

**★★★★★ — Mark, March 2023**

> Bill Sudlow and the team at Sudlow Concrete did an amazing job for us. In February, after 23 years of looking at the same old beat-up driveway, we finally decided that it was time to pour a new one. We heard about the quality work done by Sudlow here in the Spalding Corners subdivision of homes and decided to request a new quote.
>
> Within just a few days, Aaron Sudlow was out to the house to have a look at our project. He was very experienced with some great recommendations on final design, and had a very competitive quote ready same day. Our policy with larger projects is to always, always get at least three reputable companies to bid each job. In this case after four, we felt most confident with the team at Sudlow to do the job right the first time.
>
> Within just a few weeks we were scheduled to start. Our current driveway and front walk is about 1,500 square feet, Sudlow’s A-team had that removed by mid-day, and we were on to pour new (4000 psi w/ fiber and rebar) concrete that afternoon. It was a long day, but the team managed to finish that evening.
>
> We noticed just one small issue on the ‘leading edge’ of the new “lip” area near the merge with our street that needed a bit more work. Bill had one of his team familiar with the job come back out and make it right the very next day. So we are extremely happy with the results. And it’s really helped to improve for our home’s overall curb appeal. We would highly recommend Bill Sudlow and the Team at Sudlow Concrete for your project!

> 5 Stars and Excellent customer service! Sudlow was prompt, professional and were done in no time with a beautiful driveway left behind. They coordinated with Gwinnett County to mark off the utilities days ahead of time. They did an amazing job and I would highly recommend.

> Hiring Sudlow Concrete is the decision I regret most as a homeowner. Our driveway was a very important and very expensive project at our home. Please review other sites like Yelp when you consider hiring this company. We went off only Google reviews only and that was a mistake.
>
> Our driveway was poured several inches above grade. It looks like it is floating on top of our yard. If you you don't back up straight you could drop off of it and damage your vehicle. Drainage is terrible. The driveway is not at ground level, so water cannot run onto it or down it. Instead, water pools up against it and has created expensive additional landscaping projects in our front yard to fix. Our yard was already finished/landscaped so this is unnecessary work. We have large trees and it is a safety issue to have water pooling up and making the ground too soft. Drainage was a number one concern of ours going into the job.
>
> Additionally, a 4ft long crack formed the week after the driveway was poured because the dirt underneath was not compacted correctly.
>
> We asked for the owner to come see the finished project (because he is not on site during the job or after). We had to wait two weeks for an appointment. When he finally came out our meeting was very tense. He finally admitted that this was not the standard way their driveways are poured, but made excuse after excuse for the job and did not take ownership for the quality of the work or offer workable solutions. I do not think he was being truthful in our conversation, as multiple things he said did not make sense.
>
> After pressing the company for a resolution, they finally offered a small amount of money to offset the cost we will incur to fix the problems this driveway has created. However, it was not enough to cover the expenses we will incur. This was not a satisfactory resolution by any means.
>
> I see all these lovely driveways laid IN the ground, but ours is just a disaster sitting on top of our yard. The problem is that these projects are permanent and since the owner would not offer any resolutions that fixed the core issues, we are simply stuck.
>
> We are so, so disappointed. This project has been a nightmare and has caused so much stress in our home. If I could undo it I would in a heartbeat.

> Bill Sudlow's crew were impressive, and I don't impress easliy. In two days they removed and replaced a forty year old driveway. They used a compacted crusher run base, which few do. They used fiber reinforced concrete, which few do. They used steel rebar, which very few do. They also give a five year transferable warranty, which none that I know of do. They did all of this at a very reasonable price.
> I've seen a lot of concrete driveways but none can match what Sudlow did here.

**★ — Gil Saunders, April 2019**

> Don't bother. I asked for a simple estimate, I received an email as to why they weren't interested in my job without even bothering to come out and look at it. Further, they made sure to let me know they were booked for estimates until the end of the following month, just to further let me know just how unimportant my business was. Shame, a simple driveway install is all I needed; if they'd done a good job I'd have let them replace the bridge over the creek the driveway is currently sitting on as well.

> I am extremely pleased with the work the Sudlow team did for us. Our driveway was a broken up mess and now we have a beautiful new one.
>
> I was very impressed with the crew, it was a pleasure watching them work. The obviously know what they are doing and work well thought.
>
> I highly recommend Sudlow.

**★ — Eric Webb, Oct. 2017**

> Showed up on time other than that very unprofessional got the money and ran will not come back to address any issues.

**★★★★★ — tricia\_page33, Nov. 2016**

> Sudlow Concrete redid my old crumbling driveway. Not only was the quote the lowest out of 5 different companies, but their service was excellent. They completed the work promptly in 2 days and had the entire area cleaned after completion. I highly recommend using them for a stress-free job.

**★★★★ — atlnative, Feb. 2016**

> Bill and his team were given a short deadline to do a pretty big project -- redo and increase a driveway, and redo a front walk for starters. The largest part was in the backyard -- pour concrete and lay stone for a new patio, firepit with a stacked stone wall, and paths between those and the house. He and his team showed up when they said they would (a big deal to me!) and they accomplished the job within the timeline. His prices were competitive. While the final product looks great, I'm not giving the highest rating primarily because we had an avoidable mistake which caused them to tear up part of the pation and repour. While nothing goes perfectly on a site, Bill responded when things went wrong -- he returned calls immediately and addressed concerns without hesitation. I'm sure we'll enjoy the final product for many years to come.

## Community Q&A

**Q: what is this** *(in Photo Questions)*

is it concrete??

A: This is a decorative concrete apron. The usually appear at the end of driveways to meet with the street.

**Q: concrete and brick...like they do in raised crosswalks?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I need to make the "landing area" for my car, up to the garage door, level. The driveway is 31 feet long and presently sloped. When I pull in, I want the parking pad closest to the garage level with the walkway.to the backdoor. It can be done but need to know options and cost. I was hoping the transition from the sloped area to the level area could be delineated by brick.

A: Please give me a call

**Q: Would like to have this for a sunroom?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you add tint?

A: It's uneven
Would be hard to sweep
Would not recommend
