## Community Q&A

**Q: FLOOR DENT HELP!!!** *(in Other)*

Just had brand new oak floors installed at our new house and stained...haven't even moved in and they made a gash/dent on my new floors!  They tried to fill it with putty but it looks like gum!  I wouldn't mind so much if it was in a corner - but it's visible as soon as you open the door!  What do I specifically need to tell the floor guy to fix it?  Looks like an awful patch!  Thanks!

A: Ebony stain

**Q: Countertop color** *(in Polls)*

Finishing a bar for our basement. Not sure what color to go with for countertop color. Should I go light or dark with countertop. Is there any specific granite color or HD laminate color you would recommend. The countertops will go on back counter with sink for 1st picture and then a breakfast bar style for the 2nd picture for countertops. Wall paint color is utterly beige by Diamond Vogel and carpet is Mohawk's natural grain color. I'm really struggling what color of countertops to go with the bar cabinet color!
