We had new granite put in our old house and decided to use StoneTop again for our new home. Again Cameron was great, however the own Norah? is a nasty, rude, and did a horrible job with the install. She had to "improvise" and had to cut our quartz top several times and she did it in the house. The island also was cut for the faucet for some reason in the house. I found out later quartz dust is HIGHLY agitating, causes lungs to hurt, skin and eyes to burn and itch. > > On top of that her attitude just sucks. She came in the house not introducing herself as the owner and started yelling on why the faucet wasn't removed. Found out week later when I was getting back splash done she didn't shim the counter-top which is completely unprofessional and it started bowing and I had to get under and shim myself as well as remove all drawers and wipe EVERYTHING down due to the dust all in the cabinets which took me over 3 hours. > > Cameron is great, the owner is a horrible nasty person who does a horrible install job. Our first install was done by a hispanic gentleman who did a great job on the install and shimmed and came with everything cut correctly and all holes predrilled before install. Based on the owner I will not be a repeat customer. Cameron is great, if you can get them to promise the owner is not going to install your experience maybe much better than mine. We were scheduled for them to template today for new granite. 40 minutes after the scheduled arrival time I heard someone walking in our garage. Suddenly the OWNER of Stone Top walked straight into our kitchen - no knocking, she just walked into our house and slammed her materials on our island. She was obviously agitated and annoyed. We asked her a question about if something needed to be removed and she answered with a very annoyed and snarky "Yes". I asked her a couple more questions to which she continued to be very disrespectful and agitated when answering. I finally stopped and looked at her and said, "Have I done something to offend you?" She just stared at me and I said, "Can we please just be kind to each other?" She told us she had been sick and she didn't know what we wanted from her. My husband replied that we understand not feeling well but could we please use kind voices and treat each other with respect. To this she picked up her materials and left angrily saying they would not be doing the job for us. I can understand having a bad day but I am still shocked by her behavior. Now after having a signed contract with them we are back at square one and our old countertops are already ripped out. At this point I don't want them to do the job, I really cannot imagine working with them any further.
