**★★★★★ — Lorraine Curtin, Aug. 2017**

> I have had Gerry stage and decorate two homes, a contemporary condo and an antique colonial. Gerry has the ability to assess the space and determine the best color, furniture placement and overall design. She is fun to work with and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process.

**★★★★★ — Carol Salloway, June 2017**

> I have worked with Gerry for over 10 years and on many projects in 3 different houses. She has helped me on big projects like helping with a kitchen and a fireplace makeover. She has also helped me on small requests, like finding the right accessories to finish a room. Her keen eye and her insight into my taste preferences always result in beautiful living spaces. I’ve moved again and I’ve just hired Gerry to help me make this house a wonderfully inviting home. Thank you, Gerry!

**★★★★★ — Abigail Baker, April 2017**

> Gerry is the consummate professional. I have used her over the past 10 years on three different homes. She implemented both redesign and staging for me. She is a great listener and an incredible observer. She quickly comes up with ideas, makes suggestions, and provides resources for plans. My homes always looked beautiful while saving me a great deal of money. Could not be happier with Gerry.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Help - What to do with this wall???** *(in Home Decorating)*

This bump out can't be moved...it's the kitchen pantry and storage. SO, I'm stuck with what to do with it....

It was painted in the same white as the rest of this room, but it looked so bland, I painted this black square behind the bar. However, now I feel it stands out in all the wrong ways.

What do you think....should I paint it back to white? Do a wall paper on that square? Our focal point is on the opposite wall (fireplace) so I'm confused about what to do here to highlight the bar, but not distract from the fireplace...

Maybe the bar shouldn't be there at all?? :D

A: All great comments. I think the scale of the bar throws everything off. I would 1) paint the entire bump out a soft gray or other neutral color and then try hanging the woven textile there; 2) replace the current bar with a wider, sleeker table; OR 3) create a new conversation area by removing the bar and adding a couple of chairs and a small table. You could also create a bar by placing a sofa table behind your sofa. Love the beautiful carved wood panels over your FP!

**Q: where is the stained glass from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Can't tell you how much I love this nook. Beautiful job!
