## Community Q&A

**Q: Furniture Placement?** *(in Home Decorating)*

Hello All!
Looking to freshen up the living room and am wondering about different furniture layouts for
this particular room.  Currently our couch is on the 2 window wall facing a large wall unit that houses
our television and many books and games.  We have two chairs in front of the wall unit. There is a
bench seat built in under the bay window but it isn't very deep and doesn't get used for much more than putting "stuff" on it. I would be happy to rip it out.  

Its a big room with big lovely windows and a killer view,  I feel like we aren't seeing the possibilities of putting more seating in.  It is our living room and only space to entertain.  We use it for watching movies and spending time with family.
The fireplace wall ( opposite the bay window) has a floor to ceiling brick wall and houses a wood stove).  There is a wood mantle on it.
make any sense? would love to see what y'all can come up with, I certainly don't have fresh eyes or any skill in interior design! (the current furniture is tired and dated so out with the old and hello 2021!
