> Introspecs was referred to us by our architect Marty Buckenmeyer for help on a major remodel to our 1926 home. We finished our basement and gutted our top floor to add a master suite and extra bathroom for our children. This project was to huge for us to handle on our own, Allisen was super easy to work with and very organized and communicated well with us throughout this entire project! She helped us blend the existing main floor with the new additions keeping it clean and simple. By suggesting painting our kitchen cabinets and changing out fixtures, our main level looks brand new as well, making it seem like we have a brand new house! Allisen and Virginia have great attention to detail and we will continue to use them in the future, as we have a few more projects to complete. We look forward to working with them again!

> We hired Introspecs to help us reimagine and redesign parts of our home to help make it a more functional, fun and family friendly space. We had lived in our home for 8 years when we were at a crossroads: make our home work for our family of five or move to a new home. We love our neighborhood and seized this opportunity to make our home a better fit for us. Allisen and the whole team at Introspecs took a lot of time and care learning about what our needs were, what our aesthetic sensibility is and how to make our home work for us. They work quickly and efficiently and were able to incorporate our feedback into the design process. They helped us transform the dream we envisioned on our Pinterest boards into a reality. The result is that our home is light and bright, is modern while adhering to the style of our 100 yr old home, full of storage and functional design and just straight up beautiful. We love how everything turned out and are happy to have had the help and vision of Introspecs make it a reality.

> My husband and I hired Allisen and Introspecs in the process of working with Olson & Jones to remodel our kitchen. Having never worked with a designer before (or done any kind of renovation), we didn't know what to expect, but now our standards are set very high because of our experience with Allisen and Virginia. They created a just-right, workable re-design of our small-footprint kitchen, one that feels now 6 months after full project completion like it's always been this way. Allisen was masterful and kind as she talked us through the process, answered to our satisfaction each and everyone of our questions about the contract and budget, which was not exceeded at any time, and made meetings both pleasant and productive. Virginia was also a joy -- especially in her sense of color and spirit. She helped me imagine how one of the tile options -- one that I was drawn to but a little out of my comfort zone but wanted very much to use -- could work in a interesting and gently vibrant way without being overly dramatic. Overall, my new kitchen is light, bright, calm and very functional. Every morning, I smile when I enter it.
> Without hesitation, we would work again with Allisen and Virginia and recommend them to others. They are polished professionals, good listeners who are also willing to explain their recommendations and adapt to our needs, experienced pros focused on both the big picture and important details/deadlines, and just good people!

**Comment from Introspecs:**

> Thank you so much for your lovely + very kind recommendation Karen. You guys were such a joy to work with and we're so fortunate to have you as our clients. We're so very happy you love your kitchen so much!

**★★★★★ — TELFORD+BROWN STUDIO ARCHITECTURE, May 2019**

> Allisen, of Introspecs, was wonderful to work with. It was immediately evident that she is a great listener and designer, and that this project was safe in her capable hands. Both with the client and separately, RBA and Allisen spoke together, at length, about our vision for the spaces and ideas about flow and materiality, etc. Introspecs brought those ideas into fruition, and perfectly melded the interiors of the house with the architecture, ensuring that the design would perfectly fit the needs of the client, and be a house they could be proud of.

> We worked with Virginia at Introspecs to remodel our small commercial office space. We truly enjoyed working with Virginia because of her ability to solve design challenges and strong communication skills. We are very happy with the quality of work. Each time that we met, Virginia was well prepared and very professional. Her attention to detail, creativity and willingness to go the extra mile made our project a success! We will definitely recommend Introspecs to friends who are looking to remodel a residential or commercial space and would be very excited to work with Virginia again on future projects.

**★★★★★ — Alicia Sypal, Feb. 2019**

> We can’t say enough wonderful things about Virginia at Introspecs! First of all, her level of professionalism is impeccable. Not only has she always been a very clear communicator, but she also has carefully listened to us as we’ve described our preferences and needs for our home. Virginia promptly delivered results to us that were very concrete, with a vision that matched our style exactly. We were so pleased. We made hardly any revisions, as she had a complete handle on what we wanted. It was a relief to my husband and me to have such trust in her decisions, especially for two people who have been paralyzed with indecision over past DIY projects. She is extremely responsive, and has made herself available to us and to our contractor when questions have come up, or when revisions have been necessary. We can’t thank Virginia enough! We would absolutely hire Introspecs for all of our future home improvement projects.

> Working with introspecs was a great experience. They did a bedroom design for me and were really responsive and communicative with me throughout the process. I was really impressed with the work and everyone I’ve shown my designs to were also really impressed by the work. I’m super excited to actually start transforming my bedroom and I would highly recommend!

**★★★★★ — Aimee Brigham, July 2018**

> I am so thankful to have found Allisen and Introspecs. Without their help, our remodel would have had many hiccups and a few, bad mistakes. Thanks to Introspecs, our home feels cohesive, true to our style, and up to date. We would recommend them fully to our best friends ... and already have.

**★★★★★ — Built Photo, April 2018**

> I photographed one of Allisens projects. It was a two bathroom and walk-in closet remodel. beautifully done with great attention to detail. Allisen was wonderful to work with and I would for sure recommend her as well as work with her again.

**★★★★★ — Bill, March 2018**

> Introspecs got involved at the beginning of this complex remodel of our 1965 ranch home. They started with lighting and electrical diagrams, designed the kitchen helped us find new furniture and flooring then in the end art placement. Basically, Introspecs did the entire interior design - start to finish.
>
> From the start they were well organized, understood how to use technology and have outstanding communication. You need all three to get through a project of this size! In particular - Allisen's positive, uplifting and prompt communication style was a big help when things got stressful.

**★★★★★ — Heather Miller, Aug. 2017**

> We really loved working with Allisen and the Introspecs team and plan to continue working with them on any future projects. We did a kitchen/bathroom/closet remodel and addition. It was a big job so it was important to get the right fit. Our contractor referred me to Allisen and I immediately loved her portfolio. Allisen came up with beautiful designs that met with our esthetic as well as working with the overall look and feel of our 1929 Tudor Style House. Her style is fresh. She puts a lot of thought into functionality of a room as well (cabinets, drawers, layout).
>
> What I really appreciated about Allisen was her decisiveness and confidence. She could help answer questions and concerns quickly and thoughtfully upon the first meeting and continued with that throughout the project. She is organized, kept to deadlines efficiently and worked well with our contractors. We are thrilled with the final look and feel and highly recommend her.

**★★★★★ — Jordon L, Aug. 2017**

> Allisen and Erik helped us update our living room with new furniture, fireplace, mantel, and cabinets. The were professional, fresh, and to the point. They had great opinions, were timely and responsive, and gently helped us keep our bad taste in check. Thank you!

**★★★★★ — Mark Feldman, April 2017**

> Working with Allisen to design our kitchen remodel was truly a pleasure! Our 100-year old home is full of many period details (built in cabinets and woodwork) which we knew we’d be keeping. But we also knew that we wanted a kitchen with a contemporary look and feel. Allisen and her team were perfect for this project. Deeply knowledgeable and excellent listeners, they have a terrific sense for space and how to create livable designs. And they were easy and fun to communicate with at every step of the way.
>
> Introspecs helped us create a beautiful design: some bold tile on the floor, cast concrete countertops, simple plywood cabinets, and clean and functional lighting. The process felt unrushed (there was plenty of time for ideas to percolate) but at the same time it felt like we were always moving forward. Allisen also helped us find a general contractor who is a great fit for our project and we are looking forward to the final product! We’d certainly work with Introspecs again and have already referred friends.

**★★★★★ — Janet Westwood, March 2017**

> We hired Allisen and her team member, Erik, to design the interior of our 800 square foot ADU. We are a retired couple who are going modern as we enter this new phase of our lives. Allisen has been great to work with and has been a consistent and enthusiastic communicator. She and Erik have been sensitive to our opinions about the belongings we want to include in our new space, but they have also encouraged us to stretch our minds to incorporate more cutting edge ideas into our interior.....without pushing us. We are so excited to see our project take shape, and we couldn't recommend Allisen and Erik more highly!

**★★★★★ — Sarah Perelstein, March 2017**

> My partner and I have had a superb experience working with Allisen, Erik and Scott from Introspecs. I initially hired them because I was really drawn to their design aesthetic, but in addition this has been such a supportive relationship, and one of the most positive aspects of an otherwise stressful process of remodeling a house and business. We've worked with many others who have ended up disappointing/unresponsive/or otherwise difficult, which has made us even more relieved and grateful about the extremely high caliber of work and the ease of working with Introspecs.
>
> Allisen's team is unbelievably responsive, and I really appreciate how Allisen is extremely organized, keeps all meetings on track and everyone on schedule, and is completely accountable, letting us know the exact timetable for when we will receive all deliverables and how and when things will move forward. It's been really easy to work with them, and they've provided a huge range of services for us, from custom design work to helping with paint colors to sending us links to the exact pieces and fixtures we want for every area of our home. And, both Allisen and Erik's design sense has been fantastic. I can't imagine taking on this kind of project without them. Overall, it's been SUCH a pleasant and beneficial experience for us, and we would recommend them completely without any hesitation. Thanks for helping to turn our home into the kind of sanctuary we'd imagined!

**★★★★★ — Modern Organic Construction, March 2017**

> We've had the pleasure of working with Allisen and the team at Introspecs for years.
> As builders we recognize the value of thoughtful and well documented design.
> Introspecs consistently provides inspired design to their clients as well as superior construction documents. Working from thorough, accurate drawings a builder can avoid the mid-project delays that plague many projects.
> Introspecs delivers on this level in spades.
> We frequently have the opportunity to recommend design professionals to our clients and Introspecs is always at the top of our list.
> This is a team that we can count on and our clients are always happy with the results.

**★★★★★ — Base Modern, March 2017**

> I worked for/with Allisen and the Introspecs team for a bit over a year and absolutely loved it. Allisen is very talented and brings no ego to the table. She is very easy to work, kind, and patient. I have seen her succesfully complete small and large projects with a varied client base.
> Allisen has a great design sense and backs it up with clear communication. Her and her team always deliver on time with fantastic mood boards, drawings, etc. I was lucky to work there and would highly recommend Introspecs!

**★★★★★ — Anthony VN, March 2017**

> I have worked with Allisen twice now once on a commercial project and once on my home. I really love her style and attention to detail. We could not be more pleased with the results of our recent remodel. You can see her pictures of it labeled Scandinavian Farmhouse. She does great work and we definitely hire her again.

**★★★★★ — Lamont Bros. Design & Construction, July 2016**

> As a designer and owner of a remodeling firm I collaborate with Allisen on various projects. On our most recent collaboration we met with the clients and discussed some challenging issues with furniture placement their fireplace and the windows. We had the basic concept down, but needed some outside input to help us finalize what we wanted to accomplish. She brought some original ideas and helped us solve the last design challenges to help us keep the project moving. Working with Allisen is always a joy--she's upbeat, positive, full of original ideas and always a pleasure to meet with.

**★★★★★ — piedmontbob, Sept. 2015**

> Introspecs designed our kitchen and a multi-use room (laundry, office) and we are currently finishing the last details of the remodel. We are very pleased with the functional design, aesthetics and Allisen’s recommendations for materials. Through the process, Allisen was flexible and made needed adjustments or changes upon learning our needs and how our family functions. We would hire her again, and recommend her wholeheartedly. Allisen brought a unique perspective to our job: not just reflecting our own design ideas, but making design recommendations that we had not even considered, and that still conformed to our priorities. We contracted Allisen to make materials recommendations, and were very pleased with that aspect of her services as well. She is particularly adept at soliciting feedback and getting agreement to move forward when there is more than one stakeholder in the decision. And on top of that, she is a pleasure to work with.

**Comment from Introspecs:**

> Thank you so much Rob, you guys are so fun to work with and I love how your interiors have evolved throughout the project. Remember big blue? :)

**★★★★★ — dawn, Aug. 2015**

> We recently worked with Allisen from Introspecs to design a new kitchen for our midcentury forest dwelling. The existing kitchen was the original from the 40s and was barely serviceable. The strange, L-shaped kitchen provided few opportunities for new, modern appliances and kitchen layouts. The design task was daunting so we reached out to Introspecs for a design quote.
>
> From the very beginning, Allisen dove right in and offered valuable insights and saw exactly how to solve the problem. She even offered several layout configurations but ultimately showed us the wisdom of the one we ended up selecting. Her deep knowledge of midcentury was extremely helpful in shaping the overall vision and keeping it authentic to the period while still affording those modern ammenities.
>
> Allisen's design work and drawings were thorough and clearly laid out a plan for the execution of this project. She provided dimensions and all the views needed to capture the space. There was nothing missing.
>
> Overall, I was impressed with Allisen's ability to truly listen to us and understand our vision while adding insight from her own experience.

**★★★★★ — Stacy Day, Aug. 2015**

> I have known & collaborated on client projects with Allisen for over a decade. She is a confident, distinguished professional in all aspects of the design process from concept & estimating to budget & install on all commercial or residential projects, big or small. Always with a positive & encouraging can-do attitude, she operates with a high level of organization & dedication to keep projects on-time & at budget with impeccable follow up & follow through. Her projects always adapt to the aesthetic desires & design needs of an individual project vs. painting an imposed "style" to conform to a cookie-cutter aesthetic. Her clients have repeatedly shared with me an appreciation of the process as well as the final result of working with her.

**Comment from Introspecs:**

> Thank you for your kind words Stacy, you know I love collaborating with you!

**★★★★★ — heathercflynn, July 2015**

> We hired Allisen to help us generate ideas/select materials for our kitchen update/remodel in our NE Portland 1910 home. She was very fun and professional to work with. She was quick to respond to emails/phone calls and made us feel like our project was her number one priority. She was also very good about letting us know where we were budget-wise and giving us choices in that regard. When we gave our builder her specs sheet, he said that he had never seen such a detailed document from a designer; she left nothing to chance!
>
> Allisen helped us to move out of our comfort-zone and create a kitchen that was so much cooler than anything we could have ever done ourselves. She knows how to blend the features of an old home with the modern touches of new one in way that fits seamlessly together. Our simple kitchen update has completely changed our living space - we love walking in the front door everyday!

**Comment from Introspecs:**

> Whoo hoo! That's what I love to hear Heather. I'm so thrilled you and Mike are enjoying your new space every day! Thank you for sharing your thoughts here!

**★★★★★ — angie\_bownagel, July 2015**

> We could not be more pleased with the interior design that Allisen Larson created for us. She was prompt, efficient and classy. We bought a classic 4 square Portland home and needed window coverings, interior paint, wall decor and furniture. She met with us in our home in order to grasp an understanding of our individual ideas for our interior. She made sound design choices based on our tastes in style and color. She incorporated an industrial look to please my husband and a modern look to please me. Allisen also added ideas for decoration in areas where our 5 and 6 year old kids spend most of their time. She provided us with mood boards as well as links to the items she placed on them. This made ordering furniture extremely easy. Her work is impeccable and we could not be happier.

**Comment from Introspecs:**

> Thanks Angie! You guys are so fun to work with and I'm looking forward to getting more photos as things continue to pull together with all of the furnishings!

**★★★★★ — signemaria, March 2015**

> We hired Allisen and Introspecs early on in our project, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Allisen was our constant advocate through the ups and downs of a major construction and remodel project that lasted for nearly three years. We could not have done it without her.
>
> At the start, Allisen really listened to us -- not just the words we used, but our overall concepts and vision -- and translated that into the design. it turned out to be exactly what we wanted. She kept us on track with that design because she has great taste and took the time to understand us. We really felt like valued clients in every meeting and interaction. She allowed us to be as hands-on or hands-off as we wanted in each phase. Even when some of my ideas were a bit offbeat ( a blue front door -- please?) , she took it in stride and tried her best to incorporate them into the design. When she took the lead (how about a beautifully stained wood door instead?), we trusted her to make good choices, and she came through. The results are amazing! Allisen designs spaces that people love to be in.
>
> On a personal level, Allisen is approachable, funny, honest, and enthusiastic! She has great communication skills and returns emails/texts/calls very quickly, so that construction decisions are never held up. She's also not afraid to get dirty, and crawl around with you on site when something's just not quite right. In part of our project, she stepped up and performed some project management when we really needed it. She's quite good at that too.
>
> We can't say enough good things about Allisen. Trust her with your next design project. You'll be so glad you did.

**★★★★★ — Karyn Galati, Oct. 2014**

> We had never worked with a designer before so we weren't sure how much control to relinquish. From the moment we met Allisen at Introspecs LLC we were completely put to ease. Her gentle nudging to look past our knee jerk reactions helped us to be open to seeing our space in a new light. In trying to meet our budget she worked hard to find the perfect fireplace surround and then worked directly with the fabricator to make sure the size and shape of the design would be accurate. She was so timely in addressing our concerns and completely professional with constant updates. She made the process fun and exciting. Allisen’s endless ideas and patience created a family room and adjoining kitchen which exceeded our expectations. It’s stunning! We are looking forward to working with Allisen again to create a beautiful master suite.

> Introspecs LLC has provided design services for me on a number of projects over the past few years. We appreciate their knowledge, great space planning and layout skills. They work well with our clients by doing thorough interviews to determine the project goals, providing preliminary design with a couple of options, then working to finish the chosen alternate. They have been very responsive and completed the projects on schedule.

**★★★★★ — John Hayden, Aug. 2014**

> I've worked with Allisen on several projects, both commercial and residential, and she's consistently delivered wonderful ideas. Our tech company's space downtown was transformed into a bright and creative workplace and a couple residential projects couldn't have been done without her vision. We'll definitely continue to consult with her!

> I had the opportunity to work with Allisen Larson, of Introspecs, in 2009. She was working with partners in a growing business to re-envision their professional space, and lead the interior design effort. She brought me in to the project to help with the original art component.
>
> I had the pleasure of witnessing the trust, openness and confidence Allison's clients had in her. The ease with which they communicated and related enabled her engage in a thoughtful and meaningful design process. It was also a lot of fun!
>
> Allisen's interests go beyond intelligent design... she cares deeply about the people and businesses she works with. She is successful in balancing great ideas with a carefully managed budget and architectural expertise.

> I engaged Allisen from Introspecs to remodel our "forever house", a 1907 bungalow that had seen a patchwork of remodeling over the last 100 years. Among other things, she has drawn floor plans, lighting plans, selected furniture, designed cabinetry, selected colors and finishes, recommended moldings, etc. Quite simply, she's fantastic, and here's why:
>
> 1\. She really listens. I'm the type of person who has a vague idea about what I want (but very specific budget requirements), but articulating these ideas in 'design speak' baffles me. Allisen spends a lot of time listening and presents me with 3-5 options: a "literal" option (e.g. Japanese-inspired = tatami mats); an "abstract" option (e.g. origami-like wall tiles); and an "edgy" option (e.g. Roku-glazed tiles with a pop of coral).
> 2\. She's very responsive and keeps in constant communication via email, phone, and even texts. I love that she comes up with ideas at random times and sends me emails for feedback: it shows that she's thinking about my project even when not officially "on the clock".
> 3\. She's flexible in accommodating my schedule, but always punctual, precise, and delivers when she says she will.
> 4\. She works well with contractors -- I especially love that she'll do a walk-through with our general contractor and/or his subs to go through the finer points of detail.
> 5\. She has great "hard" design skills (CAD, architectural functions, etc.) and "soft" skills (furniture selection, upholstery, colors, etc.) to create a holistic, put-together style for our house without making it feel like a chain hotel.
>
> I would recommend Allisen without reservation for anyone who is looking for thoughtful, creative, but liveable design.

**★★★★★ — pammudge, Sept. 2013**

> I would highly recommend Allisen and Introspecs for your design work. I've never remodeled before so I went into this project without a clear vision. She did a great job of helping me understand the potential for my new kitchen, combining my ideas with well thought out expertise to design a space that will be beautiful and efficient. Her ideas and designs really brought the kitchen to life for me. She was thorough, responsive and very helpful. You would be happy to work with her.

**★★★★★ — elizabethmontes, Sept. 2013**

> I loved working with Allisen at Introspecs LLC. We had a good idea of what we wanted when we contacted her and she helped us flesh out the details and provide drawings to get a more concrete description to the contractor. She also advised us against some of our ideas that would have ended up making us feel more cramped (in our tiny galley kitchen) and she did it in a respectful and educating way - even as far as showing us a detailed drawing of our idea and comparing it with a different one to help us make the choice. She also came up with innovative design solutions for us as well, in regards to a liquor cabinet door (sliding chalkboard door instead of a swing chalkboard door for better clearance within the available side walls). It was great being able to turn to her for advice during this job as she explained her opinions and design recommendations on any of those matters no matter how small. She is easy going and fun to work with, she is very positive and is a great listener. Also, she works fast! She stayed in constant communication as we tried to get the drawings done in record time to start a project with a looming deadline. She also kept the contractor (Modern Organic Construction) in the loop on every single detail as evidenced in all of our cc'd emails.
>
> I will show photos once the project gets under way.

**★★★★★ — mweakland, Sept. 2013**

> Allisen of Introspecs provided kitchen designs for a total kitchen remodel. Along with the design and specs for the kitchen she assisted in helping pick the finishes and materials used.
> We are very satisfied with the services that Allisen provided. She listened to our priorities for the space, picked up on our design style and was easy to work with if we felt something needed re-working. We would and have recomended her to friends and family.

> We hired Introspecs to help design a custom 12-ft wardrobe for our unusual master bedroom, which had been expanded from its original 1961 cube to include both a bump-out sitting room and a loft sleeping area over it. This alienated and marooned the original bedroom footprint, which became a walk-thru with two orphaned and constricted closets.
>
> We had an idea and a gifted carpenter. Allisen of Introspecs became our design medium, creating a turnkey design that incorporated the midcentury lines with a modern aesthetic appeal that both anchored the space and made it functional! Her clever design also gives the illusion of symmetry until the closet doors are open and the interior compartments are visible.
>
> Allisen was always punctual, professional, and a very good listener. She communicated regularly and was also good on the follow-up. I would hire her again!

> We hired Introspecs to provide the design and management of our Portland Office and it turned out fabulously. Allisen was able to take our requirements for a professional polished look with a comfortable (Portland/IT) office feel and turn it into the reality of our new space. Additionally she was conscientious and professional about our ever changing timeline (3 month delay by the building) as well as our unique functional needs.
>
> Above all else, we felt that Allisen took personal interest in our success and it shows. The result of our project is an office that is the envy our our company and is now the show piece space of our Landlord with them taking professional photos for their portfolio.
>
> As the finance guy that was always trying to cut costs and do more with less, I can't thank Allisen enough for working within my parameters and being resourceful to create such a great place to come into work each day.

**★★★★★ — Green Hammer, Feb. 2013**

> Working with Allisen over the years has always been a delight. She's professional and pleasant, and is able to effectively communicate with both clients and colleagues for a successful outcome. A naturally talented designer, Allisen always sees the possibility within the challenge to come up with an innovative solution.
>
> We value our relationship with Introspecs, and Allisen in particular, and look forward to collaborating on many more projects together.

> Allison made the job of my living room/kitchen remodel a breeze. She listened to what I wanted and narrowed down choices and colors which made it all easier....thanks, Allison!

> Allisen was great to work with. I appreciated her ability to visualize how the office space would look on completion. Her ability to interpret modern styles to blend with our functional need was excellent. We are very happy with the result.

> “Allisen was incredible to work with, and I would recommend her to anybody. She is a brilliant designer, coming up with innovative possibilities for our remodel that we never dreamed of. She is extremely professional, and has a fun and sunny personality. And most importantly, she will make you feel like you are her only client because she gives so much time, care and attention.”

> Allisen Larsen with Introspecs was our design consultant when my husband and I were building our home. Not only did she provide design and working drawings for various parts of the home project such as the kitchen, library, closets, bathrooms etc., her advice was invaluable. We would have made serious design mistakes had we not had Allisen to go to for consultation. For instance, we did not have a door going to the outside from our kitchen. Allisen caught this and we were able to avoid a major mistake that would have caused us to go out of the kitchen through the living room to get to the bbq! Many times my husband and I were stumped on a particular decision and we would call Allisen with a cry for "help"! We were always so amazed that she could immediately see the problem from her outside perspective and offer a solution. I can honestly say we took her advice 99% of the time. The other aspect of working with Allisen that we appreciated was her ability to work with us within our own vision.

**★★★★★ — Solid Form Fabrication, Feb. 2013**

> We hired Introspecs LLC to design and coordinate a complete tear out and remodel of a 6000 sqft commercial office space. From concept phase to final delivery of furniture, principal designer Allisen Larsen was able to interpret the groups individual needs, translate those goals into a comprehensive design, and clearly communicate the design intent through concept sketches, presentations to the managing partners and AutoCAD drawings for the build. Allisen was engaged and involved at every phase, offering feasibility studies as we looked for a space, then working with inspectors, contractors and subs to solve construction problems. Using the right combination of interior and exterior colors, custom designed furniture and a mix of reclaimed and innovative materials, Allisen designed an inviting, productive office space that communicates our brand and boosts employee morale. It was a pleasure working with Allisen and I would recommend commissioning Introspecs LLC to design your next home or office space.

> I found Allisen to be creative, thoughtful with a strong background to bring interesting ideas to her design. She is confident but respectful.

**★★★★★ — karllisle, Feb. 2013**

> Allisen provided design consulting services on a whole-house interior rebuild of our 1954 ranch home in SW Portland. We had suffered a fire in the house resulting in the need to completely remove the interior finishes (all sheetrock and plaster). This presented the opportunity to make several changes, most notably to the configuration of the kitchen and the removal of two interior walls separating the kitchen from the dining room. Allisen also provided design advice on colors, closet configurations, window coverings and flooring throughout the project.
>
> Working with Allisen has been a great experience. She's got a great innate design sense but she also listens closely to the sensibilities of the client and organizes her proposals around those likes and dislikes. Other things that are great about working with Allisen are that she's extremely responsive and available at short notice for help with construction decisions, her fees are reasonable and she's got a great quirky sense of humor.

**★★★★★ — acuitymr, Feb. 2013**

> We worked with Allisen on a referral from a contractor friend of ours and she didn't disappoint. We needed to work to design a master bedroom and bathroom out of an unfinished attic space with plenty of challenges. She did an exceptional job of really getting to know my wife and I, our tastes, and what we were comfortable doing with the space. From there, she hit every single deadline, and very nearly literally held our hands through the process. I can't tell you the last time I've had a professional combine the talent, vision and professionalism with the caring, empathy and true desire to make the experience fun and successful.
>
> Would I use her again? Absolutely. And I tell everyone we know that if they need design work done, she is the best you can get.

> In an industry filled with charlatans, wanna-bes and impostors -- Allisen Larsen is the real deal.

> Allisen is a professional in every sense of the word. I have had the pleasure of collaborating with her on several projects, and the outcome is always a fantastic blend of the client's vision and Allisen's design expertise. She is a tremendous communicator and has the ability to think critically about a project both inside and outside of the box. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking to work with a professional with whom they will build a personal relationship while meeting (and surpassing) the expectations for their project.

> Over the course of the last 3 years, I've had the pleasure of working Introspecs & Allisen on two office development projects for our company (Seattle & Portland). The results surpassed our expectations! Incredible design, professional project management and a great working relationship. Not only would I hire Introspecs again, but I can highly recommend the firm.

> I first met Allisen almost five years ago. I hired her for one major reason as she has a degree in Interior Architecture as I needed someone who could appreciate my desire to move doors walls and closets in my home and redesign two bedroom suites each with their own private baths. Allisen is a remarkable designer as well we both worked well together determining my budget selecting contractors ( a plumber and a tile installer) to assist in the remodeling work. We worked closely together picking out tile for the new showers and fixtures for my home. Since we have completed my work I regret not having yet another project for her to work on. I recommend her highly.

> We hired Introspecs to help us design a residential kitchen that we were remodeling in an old 1928 Portland bungalow. Our experience with Allisen and Introspecs was fantastic.
>
> Allisen was able to listen to our needs and design style, make thoughtful suggestions on how to maximize the efficiency of the space and workflow, propose designs that were true to the period of our house (something that was important to us), and create a set of final drawings that allowed us to bid the project out to three general contractors in a fair and organized manner.
>
> Once the kitchen remodel was underway, Allisen really had our back to ensure the final result was true to her/our design. Allisen spec'd some really cool Hafele cabinet organization fixtures that our contractor had never heard of and wanted to switch to something they had worked with in the past. Allisen went to bat for us and helped the contractor source the correct fixtures, and now that we have them its hard to imagine the kitchen functioning nearly as well without them. Every storage detail was really thought through by Introspecs - some workflow things we never even knew we needed, but now we can't live without them.
>
> Allisen has a pleasant personality, really listened to our needs, and added a ton of value to our project! Thanks!

**Q: What brand and name is the quartz counter tops? Thank you** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It's Pental Quartz: Avenza.

**Q: Any idea the source for this light fixture? Absolutely love it!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Yes, we sourced this light fixture at Rejuvenation Hardware. Thank you!

**Q: Can you tell me about these wonderful light fixtures?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Thanks!

A: I believe we sourced those through Restoration Hardware. The idea was to create task lighting for reading on the sofa as well as nightstand lights when the sofa-bed was pulled out. We had limited floor space so we opted for wall-mount sconces with adjustable arms!
