The design process involves a steady exchange of ideas between you and your design team.  A preliminary design begins to take shape through a series of rough sketches and study models.  Initial concepts are evaluated and refined, as the general layout and overall form are developed, unique to the site.  Features such as cabinetry, fireplaces, and built-in furniture are given attention.  Such elements are given detail that reflects the overall character and appearance of the design.  The design is finalized as floor plans, elevations, and sections are prepared.  You and your design team review these drawings together, allowing for additional input before proceeding.

> As a Kitchen Designer, I really enjoy working with the Architects at Shoreline Architecture and Design.  Steve and Mike are very knowledgeable about the entire building process and both have a pleasant demeanor.  I have worked with both Steve and Mike on individual projects, all of which met the clients deadlines and exceeded their expectations.  Shoreline's experience in Architecture is an outstanding advantage for the client as it accords them a realistic building budget with creative solutions.  They are very detailed and creative and are an asset to any building project.

> Steve Werner a partner at Shoreline designed our lake home in SC.  I will never forget sitting with him before we began the project.  I told him everything I wanted and everything I didn't want.  I gave him inspiration photos and we talked about how we wanted the house to be used.  He took detailed notes and asked the best questions. About 2 weeks later he set up an online meeting to show us what he had designed.  I started to cry and he thought I was upset but I was crying because it was exactly the house I had in my mind.  It had everything I had ever dreamed of and it was stunning. He was involved in every aspect of the build including some of  the unique interior design features.  He is professional and personable.  He is a great listener and amazing problem solver.  He is creative and detailed.  I felt like he was able to see my vision and put it on paper and then follow through making sure it was done to his standard.  We love our house.  I would use him again and highly recommend him to anyone wanting something very special.
