A: Good afternoon and my apologies for not getting back to you sooner. The stone is a local Ontario, Canada stone called Eramosa Black. It was mimicking a dry stack lay, however, being a real stone, it is difficult and not often recommended to lay full bed stone that way so we used a black mortar to help hide it. I hope that helps.
