Mike and Maurisa worked closely with us to ensure that they captured all the specifications and design elements requested in our quote, and we understood our specs were somewhat challenging. But they didn't flinch and accommodated our requests beautifully, as well as introducing some of their own very cool and elegant (and practical) features. Specifically the drawers under the sink is a clever and resourceful means for addressing the usually wasted space surrounding the plumbing. Their choice and selection of materials are impeccable (hinge and drawer hardware is top of the line and gives a solid impression of longevity). When a couple of issues came up during installation, Mike handled it without any hassle. Fit and finish is way above par and contributes to an amazing overall aesthetic. She really helped me maximize the space and allowed me to play with the colors I wanted......working diligently to get the right color of stain to match my color scheme! I love the wood he used (European Beech) and they feel sooooo! good to use! We wanted to take down the walls of the kitchen, open in up to the dinning room and family room and add an island at the area where the walls used to be and change the original kitchen design to make it more efficient and cool looking. We met Mike and Maurisa from Dodges Classic Cabinetry at the Everett Home Show in April of 2011. We were planning to have our kitchen completely redone and so we had contacted three companies for estimates (two local ones and and an Italian cabinet manufacturer). After many months of research we contacted Dodges Classic Cabinetry again and told them exactly what we wanted. We decided to hire them because we loved the fact that Maurisa was always available and very quickly send us some designs of what we had in mind for our kitchen remodel. Their prices were not only compatible, but actually very affordable for custom making all our cabinets and adding an island in the kitchen. It was the best remodeling decision we made. During the designing process Maurisa was always available and flexible. She knew all the latest products and was able to integrate everything we wanted in our kitchen design and planning. Mike is the best cabinet maker and able to fix and make everything work right. They are young and energetic, but also experienced, knowledgeable, prompt and responsible. Both are a pleasure to work with, not only because they are the best in their trade, but also because they are the best people one would want to meet. A month before our project was due to start I had a very sad family emergency and had to leave to go overseas for 3 weeks. They were flexible with the schedule change. Maurisa worked tirelessly on our project with very little help from us. She finalized the kitchen design, made sure we had all the correct organizers, arranged for the special order hardware we wanted and stayed in touch via email. She understood what we were looking for in the final product and researched products that would match our taste and the contemporary look of the kitchen. When we were finally ready to start the project they coordinated flawlessly with our contractor to make sure everything was in place for the cabinet installation. They were always on schedule and never missed a bit or skipped even the tiniest detail. Our kitchen was finished on time and it is an absolute masterpiece of craftsmanship and superb design. We take our hats off to them for giving us the perfect kitchen, one we thoroughly enjoy using, not only because of the design, but also because of the perfect functionality and flow.
