Her services included design, helping us choose materials (including flooring, cabinets, lighting, plumbing fixtures, tile, paint, appliances, furniture and rugs, even linens) and supervising construction. > Claudia has a tremendous amount of experience and it showed right from the beginning. After we interviewed Claudia she sent us a proposal that included a range of potential costs for each room as well as a detailed description of the services she would provide and a cost breakdown for those services. Once we hired Claudia, she immediately began to work on our project and provided three very different floor plans as a beginning point. > This was a big project and costs could have easily spiraled out of control. Claudia was very good at spending money where it counted and not spending as much when it wasn’t important. As an example, the kitchen sink is on an inside wall so we did not go with a high end faucet but the back splash tile which is on three walls is beautiful. The most expensive feature was the engineered white oak floor throughout the unit. It is very high quality and will last for years. Although it was expensive it was a good value. Claudia knows the difference between price and quality. > Our project was finished on time and very close to budget. Claudia worked hard to keep me on budget. When we shopped for plumbing fixtures she warned me to stay away from brands that were beyond my budget. I wanted Sub Zero and Wolf appliances. She made sure that I understood that was not in her original budget. If she proposed something I didn’t like she was never offended nor did she try to justify her position, she just went back to the drawing board. This was always Claudia executing our vision for our Condo, not Claudia executing her vision for our Condo > Claudia spent a lot of time quizzing us about what we wanted and made sure that we got everything that was important. As an example, I wanted a full size mirror in the bedroom area and she moved a doorway so that I could have that mirror. I wanted lots of light and I have LOTs of light. > At our request, Claudia recommended the contractor that we hired. He was just as good as Claudia. She told us that she had worked with G3 Interiors for a long time. We found out why. The quality of his work was exceptional, as was his work ethic. He understood from the beginning that it was important to have a good relationship with the building management and made sure that happened. We had to move out of the Condo during the renovation so at Claudia and Gary’s recommendation the project did not start until all materials were available. They started when they originally projected and we were able to move back in a week ahead of time. It seemed to me that everything went very smoothly, although I found out later that there were a few issues, which Claudia handled in her usual professional manner. > We love our Condo and couldn’t be happier with the services that Claudia provided. **★★★★★ — maaikeh, Jan. 2016** > Claudia was referred to us by a friend for a master bath/bedroom renovation. The project was significant and challenging, involving moving walls and expanding space in a pre-war co-op building, moving plumbing in concrete floors, and attempting to achieve a look consistent with the architecture of the old space but still functional and interesting with a modern twist. Claudia nailed it. She was delightful to work with, with a deep knowledge of sources and materials and a great eye. She quickly understood our design aesthetic and advised on where to save and splurge for maximum impact. Her contractor Gary was top-notch, and all of their subs were professional and respectful. The scope of our project did expand as it went (due to our own choices, as is often the case in these things), so the budget expanded accordingly, but Claudia's original budget was in line with that portion of the work and she was great about communicating budget changes in real time.
