> “Gut” Rennovation of 2,000 sf apartment in upper manhattan. They scoped it with an interior designer and helped run the tender , oversaw the works.
> Worked almost completely hands off as we were overseas.
> Diligent across 33 site meetings and reports of photos.

**Comment from Studio ST Architects, P.C.:**

> Thank you for trusting us and for your clear vision

**★★★★★ — BA, June 2023**

> Studio ST Architects designed and managed the gut renovation of our 2400 square foot apartment. Esther and her team were a very unique "one stop shop" as they not only led the design phase but led the bidding process for GCs, advised and managed material selection and procurement and provided weekly project oversight. Given all the complexities of doing work in NYC I cannot think of a better firm and architectural firm to use.

**Comment from Studio ST Architects, P.C.:**

> Thank you so much for the wonderful oppertunity to work together!

**★★★★★ — Peri Chain, June 2023**

> Studio ST is a passionate and skilled group that has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Understanding that sound quality and attenuation would be a critical aspect of the project, the firm brought us in to provide acoustic and audio consulting services for the recently completed Ansche Chesed Synagogue renovation. Their experience and attention to detail are made evident by our inclusion in the project alone given that this area is so often overlooked. Moreover, their eagerness to incorporate acoustic products while maintaining aesthetic quality shows their continuing dedication to excellence in all respects. The space turned out beautifully and we are so grateful to have been involved. Looking forward to the next opportunity!

**Comment from Studio ST Architects, P.C.:**

> Peri, we enjoyed working with you and the rest of the SH Acoustics team. Thank you for helping us make Ansche Chesed Synagogue a much more comfortable, acoustically-pleasing space.

**★★★★★ — Liad Itzhaky, June 2023**

> I recently had the pleasure of working with Esther and Jillian from Studio ST Architects on the renovation of Ansche Chesed synagogue in NYC.
>
> Working with Studio ST Architects has been an absolute pleasure. Their visionary designs, collaborative approach, attention to detail, and professionalism set them apart from other architectural firms I have worked with in the NYC area. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking architectural services. They have proven themselves as a great firm, professional, very responsive and easy to work with.

**Comment from Studio ST Architects, P.C.:**

> Thank you to the Goldman Copeland team for all of your engineering work on the Ansche Chesed Synagogue renovation!

**★★★★★ — Steve Haas, June 2023**

> Studio ST was a great design partner to work with on a significant renovation of a synagogue in NYC. They truly took the time to understand all of the Client's needs in each of the spaces we worked with them on. They then clearly conveyed that information to their team, which allowed us to provide the best design recommendations possible.
>
> We would recommend Studio ST to any client looking for a special, responsive design firm.

**Comment from Studio ST Architects, P.C.:**

> We loved working with SH Acoustics on the Ansche Chesed Synagogue renovation. Thank you for your work, and we hope to collaborate again some day.

**★★★★★ — HU-769928592, Nov. 2020**

> Esther Sperber and Studio ST Architects did a fantastic job on our project. We combined two apartments and gut renovated. Esther and her team were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She understood our needs and worked within our budget to help us create a beautiful new home. She was attentive to details, knowledgeable and made the inevitable stress of a major renovation more manageable. She carefully oversaw the construction anticipating and catching issues before they became problems. I naively thought I wouldn't need an architect throughout the process, boy was I wrong! From design and plans to construction and reviewing the contractor's invoices, she was an invaluable project manager. She and her team brought their breadth of experience to the table while honoring our needs and vision. We couldn't be happier with the final project and couldn't recommend Studio ST Architects strongly enough.

**Comment from Studio ST Architects, P.C.:**

> It was a pleasure working with you and helping to make these two apartments into your home. You did a lot of the leg work yourself which saved us a lot of time and make the apartment look great.

**★★★★★ — FIRMITAS Engineering & Structural Design PLLC, Oct. 2020**

> Speaking as a licensed structural engineer, Studio ST is a team of consummate professionals with a keen design sense and warm team-spirited personalities. We would never hesitate to recommend Studio ST.

**Comment from Studio ST Architects, P.C.:**

> Firmitas - We have really enjoyed working with you too. You are thoughtful, professional and creative and always quick to return our call and solve any issues. We look forward to working together in the future.

**★★★★★ — uubetsy, Oct. 2020**

> My stereotype of an architect is a domineering male with a huge ego. Esther is nothing like that! We were doing a combination and gut renovation, turning 2 adjoining apartments into one. Soft-spoken, Esther listens very closely, and guides, rather than decrees. There's nothing cookie-cutter about her work. She is respectful of clients, workers, and salespeople. But when issues came up, she was a strong advocate for work being done right. She is great at coming up with plans, and tenacious about seeing them through to completion. Esther has integrity and wisdom. Working with her was a pleasure.

**Comment from Studio ST Architects, P.C.:**

> You have been a wonderful client. You knew what you liked and were able to communicate those wishes. I feel fortunate to work with honest, reasonable and aesthetically minded clients like you. I hope the apartment is a comfortable refuge during this strange time. (professional photos coming soon)

**★★★★★ — Saul, Oct. 2020**

> I have worked with Studio-ST on several residential projects over the past 16 years and have been very satisfied with every aspect of the work.
>
> Studio-ST has a great vision and keen eye for detail. The plans are very focused on the needs of the people who will be using the space, without compromising aesthetics.
>
> The work is always delivered on time and is well executed and all architects in the company work efficiently and are pleasant to deal with.
>
> Studio-ST is well connected with the professional community and was able to recommend many people that proved vital to my projects.
>
> I plan to continue working with studio-ST on all my future projects.

**Comment from Studio ST Architects, P.C.:**

> I feel fortunate to have been working with you on various projects for more than 16 years. I hope we can continue our joint work and friendship for many more.

**★★★★★ — Scott Harris, Oct. 2020**

> Our committee was tasked with selecting an architect to lead the renovation of a 100 year-old synagogue and community building in Manhattan. After a careful selection process, we hired Studio ST to create a vision for how to update the physical structure for today's uses, and to integrate it with those historic elements we intended to keep.
>
> We could not be more grateful for Esther Sperber and her team. Patience, endless creativity, and peerless communication skills with a variety of stakeholders only begins to scratch the surface. Attention to detail, excellent logistical work, and coordination between various city and state elements also set the foundation for a project which will begin shortly.
>
> Entrusting Studio ST to bring our building into the 21st century is a decision that we are very proud of.

**Comment from Studio ST Architects, P.C.:**

> Thank you Scott! I am greatful for the opertunity to work with you and with the building committee.

**★★★★★ — Ahmed Emara, Oct. 2020**

> A very professional and friendly team that we were honored to work alongside to realize the vision of their client.

**Comment from Studio ST Architects, P.C.:**

> Thank you Ahmed! It has been great working with you.

**★★★★★ — Naomi Langer, Sept. 2020**

> I have had many positive experiences with Esther. She consulted with my husband and me on a condo in NYC and was insightful, creative and smart in making recommendations. In addition, she provided thorough knowledge of the building type, offered suggestions about dealing with the board and recommended contractors who were a good fit for us and our project. She is a pleasure to work with.

**Comment from Studio ST Architects, P.C.:**

> Thank you Naomi, it was a pleasure meeting you and sharing some of our experiance!
