I have sheets of flat poplar bark for wainscot and above it I shingled the bark and put it up random. I used the bark as inlays in my crown and light rail on black lacquered cabinets and I used used 3" wide bark on my island and buffet cabinets. All this has been with the bark Danny peeled and dried himself. Now he has Smart Bark that is a super tough imitation bark siding they designed and are manufacturing. Everyone that sees it asks if its real. Its actually impressively realistic and durable. I'm using Smart Bark panels on a Freakin' RV prototype. It arrived earlier than expected, and I felt that it was reasonably priced, especially considering the unique product. We had really been at a loss for what exterior coating to use for our pool bath, but have been nothing but pleased. It goes really nicely with our brick, and we receive so many nice comments about it. My husband installed it himself, and he is not a professional handyman.
