> The bluestone patio that was installed really looked good when done.  My wife and I were very pleased.  However, one of the stones had a piece fall out and there was a crack that formed in the mortar along the length of the patio.  We were repeatedly promised that the repair work to replace the stone and fix the crack would be done.  I have respectfully e-mailed the company rep and.or Mark Correll many times (10+) to provide an update and a time frame when the repair work would be done.   Now there have not been any reply to my most recent inquiries.  The company has essentially washed their hands of any repair work promises which is very disappointing.  I would recommend that anyone looking to have work done read this review and really think about whether or not to hire Masters Stone Group for their "investment" in their properties.

The contractor was so far behind schedule (for various reasons he should have controlled) that I took the stone portion of the job away from him ... which I judged to be the most difficult.  Masters Stone Group was recommended by the supplier.  Mark, sensing my frustration said ..."don't worry, just let me know when you're ready and I'll have a crew there and we'll knock it out it a couple of days."  Not only was his price very fair, the quality and timeliness of the work was exceptional.  An extra bonus, with the other guy, assuming it would have happened I would have to order stone in larger than needed quantities, and been stuck with the extra stone and expense. I am a designer who recently did a custom fireplace with Charcoal Ledgestone facing and am looking for a hearth just like this one. Can you help me with this?  Can you direct me to the supplier for the Charcoal hearth slab?

A: The hearth stone is actually Pennsylvania Bluestone which is available in most regions.
