I'm redoing the kitchen with Kraftmaid cabinets. I'm getting quartz counter top and want to get an under-mount stainless steel sink. Contractor told me get a 24 inch sink, where as the cabinet lady from lowes said upto 25 inch would be fine. This is what i am confused about: 1\) Cabinet size 27 inch implies the inner space is less than 27 inch right? What is the inside dimension for typical 27 inch cabinet? 2\) Problem i have is, there are very few 24 inch sink - most i find are 23 inch - the bowl size is about 2 inch less than the outer edge. So really don't want to go down from 24 to 23. I found Kraus have some 24-3/4 inch - which i like. Sink Dimensions: 18-7/8 in. L x 24-3/4 in. W x 9 in. D Bowl Dimensions: 17-13/100 in. L x 23 in. W x 9 in. D Will this fit? What I am thinking - if the counter top guy attaches the sink first - do you really need to worry about how tight the space is on each side?
