My wife and I have been searching for the perfect place to retire for over 10 years. Finding a vacant lot in Flagstaff was one challenge, creating a house to fit on that lot was beyond the scope of what we dreamed possible. The lot we found comes with many unique challenges (very steep grade, codes from decades ago, etc.) - none of this made Aude even balk at the project. Listening to our every wish, guiding us through the nuances with the county, partnering with the builder, Aude Stang was a constant for us as we transitioned into this next phase of our life. In the midst of a global pandemic, we sold our remote cabin, sold our home, moved to a rental, and purged our belongings in the short span of three months; meanwhile, Aude was in constant contact with us assuring us that this was not only possible, but it would all be worth it. Most impressively was that the majority of our project was completed over Zoom sessions, phone calls and email, as we live in Alaska and travel during this time was not possible. Thanks so much! A: Hi Rebekah, The paints are from Sherwin Williams. The door is Carnival, the trim is Chai and the siding was a custom match. Here is the picture of the color components for the siding. **Q: Need to update the front** *(in Design Dilemma)* Could I paint the siding or add flower boxes? Still waiting for spring but here is a summer photo. And yes it needs to be kid friendly, no spiky stuff. I also have to cover up a stove pipe to the right of the front door with out impeding the exhaust route! So i am desperate to make my house user and visually friendly. I have a concrete garden box under the big window that is for a garden and flowers in summer but it is just dirt in the winter( it is under the eves) not sure where to go with this project!
