> We went from an overgrown backyard and a dying water-intensive front lawn to a worry-free, drought tolerant home in the front and back yards.
> Kai worked out our drainage/flooding issues, installed plants and fruiting trees and used innovative thinking to make the hardscape look amazing.
> They drip irrigation and outdoor lighting Kai installed also work great.
> Our favorite feature currently is the seating area at the back of the yard. That area has become a haven for us during the pandemic.  It's not in the house and not "just on the patio", but it is at home and we can go there for a change of pace and scenery. The butterflies and birds that come to visit the trees make it a lively place to sit and watch nature.

> I had an outstanding experience with CA ECO Design. They did front yard at my house. The project included design and implementation. The project was finished on schedule and to exact budget.
> I also wanted to mention that Kai (owner), has really helped me. When selling the property, a large branch fell from the tree and damaged the fence during last week of escrow, while I was out of the country. Kai and his team, cleaned the mess and repaired the fence all in time to allow me to close the escrow.

A small, irregularly shaped back yard is dominated by the biggest podocarpus tree I've ever seen. A wrap-around deck preserved the tree and disguised some old railroad ties. The deck, fountain, and firepit emulate the strong horizontal lines of the home. The word 'Floating' was our mantra when it came to every detail!
