JM Kozen Design Associates – Designing for custom homes, cottages, renovations and additions. We believe that good design can only be defined by exceeding our clients’ expectations. We listen, question, analyze, define parameters and explore all variables until the best design solution is created.

In the changing home ownership market in the GTA we are now doing more and more renovations and additions. To accommodate the need for updated or larger homes, families often have to look further away from major urban centres to satisfy their needs. However, with many existing homes and properties, there is often great potential for expansion and revitalization. With some analysis, exploration and creative thought, more people are now maximizing what they already have. As it turns out, we are pretty good at doing this. So far, our renovation and expansion clients are amazed how their home has been transformed and exceeded their expectations.  

Whether a new build or renovation, big or small - we will take the lead throughout the whole Design and Development process starting with initial consultations, establishing project parameters and budgets, moving through design and engineering, construction documentation, approvals and permits. We have established strong associate relationships with other engineering consultants and contractors as may be required for your project and we co-ordinate all their efforts as part of your project.

John Kozen began his design career in restaurant and hotel design working on significant projects in Canada and the US and is now focused on his first love of house design.
