Our house is an Arlington colonial from 1948, but we wanted to add a modern looking structure. Luther's design tastefully blended its front with the vernacular of the street and fully expressed its modern look on the side and the back of the house. He successfully captured our vision from the first 3-D rendition we saw, and then worked diligently on every single detail, specification and material, and offered options. He was always very responsive over e-mail and in person, and stepped in as our architect advocate when the contractor we hired failed to follow the plans on multiple occasions and had to do a number of reworks. Luther insisted they corrected all the mistakes and assisted us over the entire duration of the project. On a basement remodel project several years ago, Luther came up with an ingenious solution to placing an egress window in a way that brings light to the entire space while retaining our ability to meet code for the bedroom there. And it was a very cost-effective solution that allowed us to retain the flexibility to put on the addition at a later time.
