The house was not renovated since it was built in 1968. Our relationship with Cedar Construction started with our basement project. They designed an amazing area for children to grow into. For the past several years our children and their friends enjoy their private space (and bathroom). They have a comfortable TV/ video game area, arts and crafts center a huge walk in closet for storage. We have our home office down there as well. Our next project was the upstairs bathrooms. I can’t describe how valuable their insight, suggestions and there network of suppliers were to us. I will let the master bathroom speak for itself, please view the picture. We dealt with Patrick Eivers who is a pleasure to work with. He is honest with his assessments and did not try to oversell us. His workers were trustworthy, pleasant and hard-working. They did beautiful work with nice detailing, especially in the kitchen. They worked very well with the kitchen design company. His sub-contractors were similarly skilled, particularly the tile installer. The work did take a little longer than we expected, but not overly so. We had interviewed several contractors and Cedar seemed to be a slightly smaller outfit. This worked well for us. We dealt with Mr. Eivers who was available by phone if not in person on the job. While I wish there was a little more predictability in terms of the schedule, in retrospect, it was a reasonable pace. Overall, Cedar Construction was exactly what we needed for our work. A: The home owner picked out the color of the paint. I've left several messages asking for that color but have not yet heard back. I am sorry I can't give you more information, but I will try again and if I get an answer, I will get back to you. **Q: Cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)* Are these cabinets from Ikea? If so, what style/color? Love them. A: They are IKEA cabinets but from several years ago. IKEA has since changed their selection a few times. We recommend that you go into your local IKEA and peruse their selection.
