We live in Cleveland and it was really hard to find a window that would be fully sealed from Northeast winters -- and this completely does. It joins our kitchen with an outdoor bar top/stools and is by far the \#1 impressive feature that guests always comment on. The quality is wonderful, the people were great to work with, and we would definitely do it all over again. A: HeartWood is a custom window and doors manufacturer in Rochester, NY and made this door. This door cost about $11,500 plus tax & freight in 2009. 111" tall, made of solid Honduran mahogany, 2-1/4" thick. Because our doors are all custom it would be helpful to know the size to get you an accurate price. Sliding wood screens could be added, but the wall depth would be really need to be quite thick to accomplish this. Another option is for a motorized screen that would drop from above.
