While the initial focus was on designer wallcoverings and custom window treatments, client demand prompted us to gradually take on the additional product lines of Hunter Douglas Window Fashions, and design services for both residential and commercial spaces. After an incredible 35 years, it’s time for the next generation husband and wife team, Robert and Jessica Silverman, to take the helm and lead us in a new direction as a shop at home service. Doing it all as president, lead salesman and installer, Rob is continuing the tradition of delivering our customers quality products and superior service in the comfort of your home or office. Her time and attention helped us to make an informed decision on our product choice. They measured our windows and installed our shades flawlessly. As a bonus Mill Design is a Hunter Douglas dealer and can provide warranties on Hunter Douglas products. Cindi and Rick also told us on how we could receive a tax credit with our new shades. A wonderful experience. Soon we will be going back for tiles and rugs. Rick Silverman and staff were knowledgeable, professional, very clean, and most importantly patient. This project was not without its hassles as many of the inside window frames were uneven, not square, or had old screws installed in the jams preventing the shades from opening/closing smoothly. Rick and staff returned multiple times until the window treatments fit as desired.
