Thank You!!! **★ — Jeff Meeker, April 2017** > We hired William's to create some custom cabinets for our kitchen during a recent remodel. Scott, the owner, was very personable and did a nice job of walking us through the options. He was on time for the appointment to measure for the cabinets and delivered them in a relatively timely manner. This is the end of the nice things I have to say about William's. > > For installation, we were referred to Scott's son Tyler (who is "taking over the family businesss") for installation. Based on the blueprint drawn by his father, Tyler gave me a quote of $1200 to install. I agreed and within a week, he and an another person came over. However, one of the counter tops that was delivered was too small and had to be rebuilt. In addition, he did not have the floor trim that we requested. He asked for a check in the amount of $1500, not the 1200 he quoted me on the phone. He left that day, telling us that he would finish the project when the counter top was available. I made multiple attempts to call about the status, but was told it was on back-order. After calling a 4th time and waiting a month and a half, he finally said that the laminate was in and that he'd be over that Friday to install. > > Upon arrival, we were informed that he lost his measurements and didn't have the floor trim. He installed the new counter top and said he'd be back later that week to finish (they used the wrong color stain on the new counter top trim, there was an incorrectly measured drill-hole in one of the drawer faces, over-spray on the counter top from the trim sealant, shelver to cut and install, the sink hole to be cut, and multiple finishing pieces to be made and installed). After not hearing from him for a week I called and was told that he was sorry but they were very busy; we rescheduled for the next week. Tyler did not show up when we scheduled the appointment, and did not call. Once again I made multiple attemtps to call him, and eventually got in touch with his father Scott. Believe it or not, Tyler scheduled and did not show up for TWO more appointments we made. Finally, after calling Scott again, Tyler actually showed up and fixed the hole, the incorrect stain color, the shelves, and the finishing pieces. The pull-out drawers we requested were complete, but of course, were not the right size. We still do not have any floor trim, and Tyler's final excuse was that "there must have been a communication problem" between he and his father. More than three months have passed and our kitchen is still not complete or usable. > > The bottom line is that this project was an absolute nightmare, and I feel obligated to share my story with anyone considering using this company for their own custom cabinets.
