I have renovated and decorated homes, apartments, condominiums, and co-ops. I have an Interior Design Degree from Parsons School of Design and have been published in several magazine and articles in the New York Times and the Daily News. I initially come from an Art Background. I have sold art and had my own stained glass studio, where I taught and produced many stained glass pieces. My inspiration comes from listening to my clients individual unique styles, so that the finished product evokes the feeling that my clients want to convey, and that I have left them with a solution to their design dilemma and know that I have improved the quality of their environment. Decorating can be stressful, whether a small project or a much larger one, it is important for me to take some of that stress off my clients and make the whole experience pleasant and yes, sometimes fun. I reached out to Helen after seeing a random recommendation on a local neighborhood website and it was one of the best decisions that I ever made. I had just purchased a home that needed some renovations and two days after closing on my new home in Westchester County, NY, the pandemic hit and the world shut down. Helen and I never met in person before we started this project since I was located in another state and was unable to return to NY for the next eighteen months. During that period of time, using all the technology that was available to us, we virtually collaborated and designed three bathrooms, an office, an entire kitchen complete with new cabinets, all new appliances and new countertops, installed hardwood floors, and designed multiple window treatments. We’ve recently ordered living room and dining room furniture which , because of post Covid delays, will probably arrive sometime next year.
