The things that showed up were real issues (that I had an idea were problematic ahead of time). But these guys really helped me understand how much of an issue they were. FYI my home is 1920's, DIY, old school, old man remodles and "upgrades". It was obvious now was the time to tackle it. Mike was very upfront and honest with me. He worked with me. He explained the situation. I never felt pressured into doing more than I felt comfortable doing. His guys were on time, professional and worked fast with quality and attention to detail. Is my home 100%? No, but when it comes time to continue on renovations, I will be calling them back. I really enjoyed working with everyone and I couldn't be happier with all the work that was done. **Q: Dealer** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where is a dealer in Indiana

A: Vicostone is the National brand name for this quartz line.  We have exclusive rights to sell the material in the entire state of Florida.  And because of that, we were allowed to private label it, and we changed the name to Pompeii Quartz.  Anybody who visits the Vicostone website, in Florida, will be redirected to us, UMI.

Is this a hard Quartz

A: Perla Venata is a hard quartzite.  Would be a great stone in any kitchen or bathroom.

**Q: Is Soleil Quartize considered a hard or soft quartzite?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I have read that there are hard and soft quartzites. How as consumers do we know the difference? There are many mixed discussions regarding quartzite as countertops. My understanding is that if they are well sealed and a leathered finish, the etching does not occur. Any insight is most helpful.

A: It is not always easy to tell the differences in quartzites.  Soleil Quartzite is a softer stone.  Soft quartzites have calcium carbonate in them which make them much like a marble.  And marbles will scratch, etch and stain.  There are many excellant sealers, but always use common sense when caring for these stones.

A: Where was this purchased?   It could be Palladian Gray, but it's somewhat hard to tell at the angle this was taken.
