I stumbled upon them on Houzz while looking for someone to help us with a bathroom renovation. I loved what Blake did so much that I asked him to design some closets for me and then I essentially had him redecorate my entire house! When you work with SDG you get a team that is going to listen to what your needs are, pick up on what your style preferences are, and then blend those needs seamlessly with your personal style. After my project was completed, I referred them to a good friend, and I love what they've done with her home too! They are talented and extremely professional. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. **★★★★★ — mhuelga, Sept. 2015** > Blake Erskin is the best! My husband and I remodeled our house couple of years ago and we did not have any furniture. Blake first came to our house to help us with some shutters for the windows, from there on Blake has helped us to the decorate many of the rooms in our house. Anything he suggests is always a “I love it”, he has an amazing eye to find the rights things, he is also very conscious of his client’s needs/taste and works around the proposed budget. Blake is very professional and it is always a pleasure working with him! **★★★★ — nanfayfive, Sept. 2015** > I met Blake before he opened his firm and was so pleased with the advice I received > that I was eager to consult with him again. It is wonderful to be able to bounce > my ideas off his vast his design knowledge. > > Would recommend them to anyone looking to do a remodel project or just > investing in new furniture for an updated look. **★★★★★ — joyce1724, Aug. 2015** > The pros at Shotgun Design Group are amazingly creative and helpful, and designed the interiors of my gorgeous new home in Metairie, using plenty of my old favorite things while incorporating new and hip items & furniture that showcases my new more modern home. They really got a sense of what I wanted and gave lots of advice, in addition to executing orders for furniture and fabrics. And even when we might not agree on an item, they worked with me to get a solution that worked in the space and met my design criteria. Along with personal delivery, these pros top out my scale of highest recommendation. They are fun and energetic, and move swiftly to get the job done at a great price. I will definitely use them again, especially for my first open house party, they will make it snap & rock (even more than it does already!). **★★★★★ — paulaflynn24, Aug. 2015** > I worked with Shotgun Design Group in renovating my kitchen and bathroom in my shotgun-style home in New Orleans -- a challenging project, as the space is limited and oddly shaped. The kitchen, which started as a cramped nook with limited countertop workspace and minimal storage, was transformed into a highly functional kitchen that is gorgeous to boot! And the bathroom in this circa 1920s home was kept true to its original design with simple and minimal updates. Extremely professional, these experts not only provided superb design services, but they also went to great lengths to make sure the project progressed smoothly from beginning to end, assisting in whatever way possible, from concise accounting to working directly with contractors, even when I was not able to be present. > It was a pleasure to work with Shotgun Design, and I most certainly recommend their services. **★★★★★ — btf504, Aug. 2015** > Shotgun Design Group designed and decorated my family room. It's AMAZING and even better than I could have imagined! Beautiful design and GREAT to work with! You will not be disappointed with Blake and Amanda! **★★★★★ — mahl1, Aug. 2015** > Shotgun Design Group is assisting us with transforming our newly purchased Mid Century Modern home into a fabulous, chic, warm home. I cannot say enough about how Blake and Amanda were able to design a plan so we were able to select furniture, flooring, accents, and renovations, they are amazing! Without their knowledge, professionalism, and experience we would never have been able to accomplish what we have thus far. Shotgun Design Group has the ability to provide any service which you may need. They have stayed within budget, met all timelines, and have the necessary connections to achieve whatever you desire. Their efficiency, prompt service and enthusiasm has made it a pleasure to work with them. We still have not completed our home, and are currently working with them to make this house truly our own. Shotgun Design Group are the premiere experts in all aspects of design, we will never work with anyone else, we have found perfection! **★★★★★ — Lisa Harell, Aug. 2015** > I definitely recommend Shotgun Design Group. LLC. Important qualities for me are availability, understanding how to work within a budget, and personality! They have it all!! I hired them to help me furnish and decorate my dining room, kitchen area and for window treatments in my living area. I also hired them to furnish a rental apartment. They were confident, quick, available, and found wonderful pieces that no one else has. They were able to stay in my budget, and they were very accommodating to my crazy schedule. Also, they have great follow through, and stay in touch with companies they order from and deal with any delivery or stock problems head on. My kitchen table is fabulous!! And they were even able to work with some of my existing furniture and make everything come together great. Their sense of style and confidence is wonderful and they made my decision process a lot easier and less stressful. > My rental apartment is adorable and I cannot believe they found such awesome deals for that project. They know their stuff- high end and low end - whatever the job calls for! I will definitely use them for my next project . . , ( outdoor living area ) **★★★★★ — kapinto80, Aug. 2015** > Shotgun Designs assisted me throughout the building phase of our new construction home. After my initial meeting with them, I knew they would be an easy team to work with. They listened carefully to my wants and needs and promptly delivered a plan with a list of suggestions to create my vision for our home. I loved everything that was chosen for our home! Shotgun Designs made designing the interior of our home an easy and enjoyable experience. **★★★★★ — lindarhelton, March 2015** > After a complete remodel of our home, Shotgun Design Group provided excellent guidance in selecting our furnishings. We couldn't have asked for more with their choice of furniture, rugs, art and accessories. We found them to be very professional and cost conscious. We highly recommend Shotgun Design Group.
