Our house is very modern and Anne-Marie was able to capture the true essence of what we were looking for in our kitchen. As we hired many contractors in the process of building out home, it was a pleasure to find and work with Anne-Marie and her husband Al. The were professional, friendly, honest, and skilled in the art of kitchen design. > We could not have been happier with the results. We highly recommend them to anyone starting a remodeling project or building a new home. **Comment from Tailored Kitchens by Ann-Marie LLC:** > Thank you so very much for the referral and the photos. Your kitchen was a fun project to work on, and the both of you were such a pleasure to work with, too! Alan and I loved your ideas and the vision both of you had for this beautiful and unique home. We're so very glad and honored you chose us to be a part of the building process. Thanks again, and enjoy! **★★★★★ — Donna Lefevre, Sept. 2016** > Ann-Marie at Tailored Kitchens by Ann-Marie was a pleasure to work with. She listened and then offered suggestions to make my new kitchen just the way I envisioned. All the components of my new kitchen were delivered and installed on time and took great. She utilized all the available space so that I have storage that I had not thought I could accommodate. Thank you, Ann-Marie and Alan. **Comment from Tailored Kitchens by Ann-Marie LLC:** > You are very welcome, Donna. And thank you for the referral; we enjoyed working with you too!. You made some great choices that really compliment you and your home perfectly. Enjoy! **★★★★★ — Tim Pindell, Sept. 2016** > We decided to do a major kitchen renovation last year, and called on Anne-Marie and Alan at Tailored Kitchens for advice. They work with many local contractors, and together we had a plan that made us happy. As with any renovation, there are always unexpected things, and we were always able to work-out the bugs. At one point, we opted for less-cost cabinets, but after further inspection, we went back to the ones Anne Marie suggested.....a smart move! The design came to fruition, and the result could not have made us happier. Highly recommended. **Comment from Tailored Kitchens by Ann-Marie LLC:** > Thank you so much for the referral. You and your wife have a wonderfully unique home and the end result of your kitchen remodel is just beautiful. It reflects the both of you perfectly. We are honored to have been a part of your remodeling project, and very much enjoyed working with you. **★★★★★ — Sarah Lefevre, Sept. 2016** > Our experience with Tailored Kitchens was wonderful. Ann Marie was very easy to work with and gave us exactly what we wanted in our kitchen. We moved the location of the kitchen in our house and she was able to design the kitchen perfectly before we had even started demolition - her vision for the space matched ours and she understood the look we were going for - modern but staying true to the antique colonial style as well. Our cabinets are beautiful and great construction and were affordable. We opted to save money by using laminate counter tops and it was nice to work with someone that supported that decision and did not try to force us into expensive stone counter tops instead. We love our kitchen and people always rave about how beautiful it is. We have since recommended Tailored Kitchens to two other family members with great success. **Comment from Tailored Kitchens by Ann-Marie LLC:** > Thank you so much for the referrals, Sarah. As you know, I just love old houses, and working with nice folks like you made this project even more enjoyable for me. It was truly a pleasure to work with you and I hope you enjoy your home for many years to come. ## Selected projects - [Country Farmhouse Kitchen with Scandinavian Charm](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/country-farmhouse-kitchen-with-scandinavian-charm-pj-vj~2004147) - Location: Canterbury, CT - Photos: 5 - [Kitchen Installs/Remodels](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/kitchen-installs-remodels-pj-vj~768402) - Location: Brooklyn, CT - Photos: 18 - [Elegant Traditional White with Grey Kitchen](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/elegant-traditional-white-with-grey-kitchen-pj-vj~2003800) - Location: Canterbury, CT - Photos: 5 - Description: This elegant new kitchen has just about everything on your wish list: plenty of counter space and cabinet storage, convenient hidden accessories like pull-out trash bins, baking and spice storage, cookie tray and platter storage, pull-out trays and large drawers for large bulky items like pots and pans, casserole dishes, etc. There's even a beverage area that's perfect for entertaining.
