Five star is not high enough in my opinion. This company replaced siding on one side of my house with James Hardie cement siding and did an outstanding job, so I hired them to replace 8 windows and to replace the trim with cement siding trim. I interviewed 3 other window companies and most do not place protecto tape underneath the trim or replace the trim. The trim on our house was 20 years old and some of it was soft, The builder did not put protecto tape under the trim or weather wrap under the siding when it was built. The old windows had leaked and there was no protection under the windows or under the siding, so there was rot. GS Exterior Experts did a fabulous job when installing the windows. They removed rotten pressed wood and patched with new and they removed soggy wood and replaced with new under the window sill of a bay window. The replaced trim looks so much better than it did originally. They also did a great job of installing the windows. The front window is a bay window with window panes and it was difficult to install because it had been originally installed unevenly so the panes did not match. Also the window opening was a sloppy square with very uneven sides horizontally and vertically. Needless to say it looks great now. I thought the price reasonable because of the superb carpentry and use of James Hardie cement trim and of course, the very good window installation. We appreciate the business. **★★★★★ — User, July 2015** > In March 2015 we replaced our failed 8 year old CertainTeed WeatherBoard, as will most people in our Fort Collins development need to do (Weatherboard has failed across the country and lost a $103 million class-action lawsuit -- unfortunately the settlement is worth extremely little or nothing to homeowners, with many hoops to jump through). Keith at GS Exterior Experts gave us an initial estimate via email within 3-4 hours based on Internet information! We considered other siding, but James Hardie primed cedar mill ultimately was the most logical replacement choice for us. Keith then provided an on-site estimate within several days, and GS' very competitive quote was selected from four bids total. The bid was quite consistent with the original numbers. The GS crew showed up within several weeks as scheduled, and was very experienced at installing HardiPlank according to Hardie company specifications -- critical to preserving the manufacturer's warranty as well as the integrity of the home. I watched the complete installation carefully. The whole job was done, from demo to final good clean-up, within five days as promised. Other bids received estimated two weeks to much longer to complete. Understand, replacing fiber cement siding is not inexpensive. And it is painful when the house is only eight years old. But GS Exterior Experts did an outstanding job from initial contact to punch list follow-up. Our house looks great. I recommended Keith to my neighbor without hesitation (GS did their work immediately following ours) and I will do so for all my other neighbors as they recognize they have to replace their cracking WeatherBoard. After trying to get many quotes on James Hardy siding it became clear quickly that GS was a certified installer and held themselves to the high installation standards of the product manufacturer. Many other companies quoting inferior products like vinyl siding were not far off GS Exterior's competitive bid. Their price wasn't the lowest but after seeing them at the Home and Garden show and comparing them to many other quotes they were by far the most professional. They had three teams work on our house. Demo and Install, Gutters, and Painting. All three teams were punctual, courteous and did excellent work. This was a significant investment so we depended on a job well done. These guys far exceeded our expectations. The work was scheduled and completed ahead of time and we could not be more pleased with with the quality of the finished product.
