The product is very high quality, natural looking and I am confident will have the organic, natural and aged look we are going for with the stone veneer on our upstate NY farmhouse foundation.

**Q: What stone did they usefor the hearth?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love your stone and am just about to start our fireplace using a combination of American Mist and Connecticut Blend ledgestone. I am still debating about what to use for the hearth. What was used in this project?

A: Hi JM, The Hearth is beautiful but it did not come from us. It appears to be a dark bluestone that's been rockfaced. We look forward to working with you on your fireplace and we do have hearthstone options if you're interested. Our "Black Ash" is beautiful if you would like a darker color. Colonial Tan is also popular for a hearth.

**Q: Can Connecticut blend Ashtar be used as a backsplash in a kitchen?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Yes, it can be.
