> Ahrens Construction did several jobs for us last summer and overall, we are very pleased with their work.  Because the land behind our house had settled, whenever it rained the water was flowing back towards our house and we would get some water in our basement.  Joe and his team removed the concrete walkway from behind our house, regraded the land, and then repoured the walkway so that the water flows away from our house.  I am delighted to say that after three heavy rains, we have not had a drop of water in our basement – it all flows away from the house, just like Joe had said it would.

> Joe and his team are highly reliable professional workers, and are meticulous about the quality of the work they do.  In addition to the re-grading job, Joe and Barry also tuck-pointed our balustrades and managed to get the new mortar to blend in perfectly with the old.  Our house is almost 100 years old, and Joe seems to really understand the need for attention to detail with a house of this age.
