We were very happy with our choice from the beginning as the customer service and attention to detail were excellent.  Over the 6 month project, I never waited more than a couple of hours for a return call from Jason or our Project Manager Jeff.  Even now (6 months after our completion) they are quick to respond to any minor issue we have and get it fixed as soon as possible.  They kept us on track and on budget with helpful suggestions and accurate timelines.  The use of their project app allowed us to view daily progress, make vendor selections, and watch the budget adjustments to stay on top of our project.  We are very happy with our finished home and would recommend (and already have ) to anyone looking for a good remodeling experience.

**Q: slide in range does not fit, what are my options?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Almost finished our kitchen remodel and have run into an unforeseen problem. Our slide-in range does not fit in its place. The back end of the range does not slide under the 3 cm countertop. Per the manufacturer specs (GE), this should work, but even after removing the adjustable feet from the range to get to its lowest point, it does not. The installer saw our stove when he took the measurements. We don’t know what to do now?  We have asked if the back piece of granite can be removed, and were told that it would be a messy job. Below are some pics of the situation?

A: Your contractor needs to have the slab refabricated or adjusted to fit your range.

**Q: Fireplace/Mantle Decor Help!** *(in Home Decorating)*

I’m uploading a picture of my fireplace and mantle. I’m Looking for any suggestions on what to do with that space since I’m not very creative and good at interior design! What type of decor, artwork, mirrors would you use? Our room is neutral right now, recliner cream sofas and a natural color rug. No real color yet in the room! Any help is appreciated. (PS. Please disregard the mess from our kids!) Thanks everyone!

We are just about to break ground on our house in just a few weeks. My wife and I have one child and one on the way. We plan on having three or four children and we want this to be our forever home. We are building in upstate South Carolina. Please let me know if there's anything that you would adjust or change. Your advice is greatly appreciated!

A: Absolutely love the elevation. The 2nd level laundry is a concern but maybe with a laundry shoot it wouldn't be such a hassle.
