> Interviewed about 4 or 5 different architects/designers.  In the end, hired this architect  (Michael Davis) because he did a very professional first-meeting presentation.......came well prepared, had a portfolio of past projects and designs, and his projected fees were reasonable.   Working with him, we quickly found him positive, flexible, friendly, creative, and a good listener.   Even better, he had an almost uncanny ability to sense and understand what we wanted and what we were trying to do. In the end he nailed it with a design for our new primary residencewhich was almost exactly what we had invisioned in our minds.  Can't fault him on anything at all, and give him the highest recommendation to others.
