### Reviews

> I simply could not be happier about the entire planning process, construction, the expedient service from Splash's team of contractors and specialists. As much as we all think we can do this, or that, OR save money by bringing in a "friend/buddy" that can assist in reducing costs here and there...I can tell you, don't do it. I have used Splash twice on two different homes and I simply will not use anyone else ever again. Their communication was tremendous, almost daily during the throes of de-construction, re-construction and completion. I love my condo. They touched every square foot and made this old nasty dark and dirty place brand new! The intricate design in creating storage options throughout are simply amazing. Thank you SPLASH!

**Comment from Splash Home Interiors:**

> Thank you so much for your gracious review! We are thrilled that Splash exceeded your expectations and we thank you for choosing us once again for your renovation needs. We hope that your condo becomes a place of joyful memories in the years to come!

> Splash Kitchens & Baths exceeded my expectations. They were talented, responsive, patient with my big/sometimes ambiguous vision and incredibly knowledgable. They could translate my needs into beautiful, smart, functional design; always reassuring me when I couldn't see the full picture. Their organization, precision and dedication to time management and budget was impressive. They started on time and ended on time and moved mountains when there were hiccups. I would highly recommend them to anyone remodeling a kitchen and will use them again!

**Comment from Splash Home Interiors:**

> Thank you so much for your very kind review. We enjoyed working with you and bringing your vision to life. The end result we believe is spectacular and we are delighted that it met your expectations. We look forward to working with you on future projects!

> I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Splash team. They were hired to do a much-needed complete renovation on a small bathroom in our home. I was working with a very tight timeline (baby on the way) and they were so kind to see this project to completion within our desired deadlines. During the planning stages, Cathy only needed a few photos of things I loved before she knew exactly what our space needed to make me happiest. Her ideas and taste are incredible and I left that meeting feeling so excited for what was to come. Every interaction with the Splash team was professional and personable. I truly felt that each member of the team (from the labor crew to billing, etc.) cared about our satisfaction with the entire process from start to finish. Our finished bathroom is stunning and I could not be happier with the outcome. Many, many thanks to the wonderful Splash team and I hope to work with them again on future projects!

**Comment from Splash Home Interiors:**

> Thank you for your kind comments and congrats on the new addition to your family!

**★★★★★ — HU-908522000, Nov. 2019**

> Complete remodel of our outdated kitchen. Contract included engineering and design. Demo of existing kitchen, add and update of electrical, lighting and appliances. Repair sheet rock, provide new cabinets/install, plumbing, tile stone backsplash, painting and trim. All this was done in a timely manner and well organized by the Project Manager. All the personnel involved in this major job were professionals in their respective fields. The all were very respectful of us and our property. To sum up in one word Outstanding!

**Comment from Splash Home Interiors:**

> We are delighted to hear that your new kitchen and the experience met your expectations. We really appreciate your kind comments and look forward to working with you again in the future for any of your remodeling needs!

**★★★★★ — Jamison Almand, May 2019**

> We were so pleased with our experience with Splash! Our new basement kitchen couldn't be more beautiful, and Splash made everything so easy--from design to completion. They were a joy to work with, and they followed through on every deadline and promise. The finishes and quality are unlike anything we've seen in our neighborhood and area!

**Comment from Splash Home Interiors:**

> Jamison, thank you so much for your kind review. We are delighted that the kitchen met your expectations and really appreciate hearing about it from you.
>
> We hope that when you are in LaGrange you will stop by the showroom and visit with us.
>
> Thanks again and please let us know if there is any thing we can do to assist you in the future.

> We just completed a long-overdue remodel of our master bath / bedroom. This was our third project with Splash, and without question, we would use them again in the future. Though our project was small compared to many that they undertake, we never felt that ours was any less important. Thank you to Cathy, Sandy, Terry, Emily, Darren, and the rest of the team for your excellent work and top-notch customer service!

**★★★★★ — Diana Martin, Jan. 2019**

> We have used Splash for multiple projects in our house and have never been disappointed. The latest project went very smoothly and was actually completed a week ahead of schedule. All workers were courteous, clean, and showed up when they were expected. The attention to detail when using Splash is beyond compare. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable. We are thrilled with the results!

**Comment from Splash Home Interiors:**

> Thank you so much for choosing Splash once again. We are delighted to hear that this project met your expectations and we look forward to partnering with you again should you need our design/build services.
> Thank you very much for your kind review!

> Splash has been wonderful to work with while designing and installing a handicapped shower for our daughter. Beautiful workmanship and professional design staff made the process easier for our family. Prior to purchasing our home, Splash had renovated 2 bathrooms and the kitchen. These areas are two of the main reasons we purchased this home. We will hire them again for future projects. So very pleased that this project only took 3 weeks!

**Comment from Splash Home Interiors:**

> Thank you for very kind review and for choosing Splash to help you with your project. We take great pride in our showroom and field staff and they work hard to met the expectations of our clients.
> We stand ready to help again should you need us!

**★★★★★ — A G, Dec. 2018**

> Used splash for complete kitchen and four bath design, build and management. I am very satisfied with all that they did and would recommend them to family and friends.

**Comment from Splash Home Interiors:**

> Thank you for your very kind review. We are delighted to hear that we met your expectations with your project.
> Please let us know if we can help you again in the future.

**★★★★★ — Bobbi Farber, Dec. 2018**

> Splash did an excellent job on the re-design of our kitchen, baths, and entire living space in our river front condo. They were VERY patient dealing with the HOA and were attentive to the need to maintain the historic feel.

**Comment from Splash Home Interiors:**

> Thank you for your kind review. Our entire staff enjoyed working with you and we are so glad you feel the space turned out as envisioned. You have a unique space with a tremendous amount of light making it a very bright and airy space.
> Please let us know if we can ever help you again in the future!

**★★★★★ — User, Dec. 2018**

> Splash did an outstanding job on my total kitchen redesign and renovation. The project was completed exactly within the timeframe & there were no budget surprises. The entire staff is innovative, helpful, and experienced. Highly, highly recommend them.

**★ — Sue Goldman, Dec. 2018**

> If I could give no stars I might consider that, but the one star is for the subcontractors. I thank them for keeping me from falling apart during this renovation.
> Showroom/store is pretty.
> Use of builder schedule/calendar website is a good idea. However the Winslows use this as the primary and almost exclusive mode of communication.
> Designer turnover(I don't recognize any designer names from the reviews, and a new designer came in to the middle of my project),
> Unimaginative and rushed design plan, 2 dimensional plans flawed and inaccurate when actual renovation started.
> Never admitted mistakes.
> The designers came to my house only twice during my 12 week renovation, once because I insisted they come due to a major design flaw(framing in 12 square feet of my kitchen to create a passthrough with no function) 2nd time they just dropped in because they were in the neighborhood.
> I never saw Cathy Winslow(owner and designer) again after I gave her our initial payment for $35,000 and signed the contracts. I did have one unpleasant phone conversation with her.
> Sandy(owner) states he was at my house "many" times, I saw him only once after my unpleasant conversation with his wife. I never saw him again. In my opinion, Sandy doesn't do face to face communication well, but he can write a long and elaborate email. He stated several times in an email to me and my husband that he didn't want to "upset" me, as if I was a child. Very unprofessional and offensive.
> The bottom line for me.
> The quality of the work is fine. The subcontractors were good. I had a miserable experience dealing with the Winslows, Splash. I'm unhappy with the final product, this kitchen doesn't reflect, the rest of my home and what I envisioned my kitchen to look like, frankly I'm just sad about it. I kept good and kind communication with all the people that came and went from my home. I was not unreasonable. We paid every bill in full and on time for this very expensive project.
> The Winslows, and/or the designers, have never stepped foot in my kitchen to see the final product! Yes, you read that correctly, Splash has never come back to see the finished kitchen. Why? beacuse they know I'm not happy with the final design? Very unprofessional.
> I do blame myself for using them, and trusting them. I certainly paid the price. I have never written a bad online review before, but one of the reasons I went with Splash was because they only had good reviews. I felt it was important for any potential consumers to see my review so they can make an informed decision. This was our experience and review.

**Comment from Splash Home Interiors:**

> Thank you for your review. We value our clients and use all feedback to train and develop both our design staff and field crews to operate at the highest level of performance we believe to be attainable.
>
> We are extremely sorry that you are disappointed with your project. We thought the project turned out beautifully and are distressed to hear of your displeasure. The project Lead was led to believe that you were completely satisfied on the final walk though.
>
> We use BuilderTrend as our online schedule and communication system. It is used by thousands of contractors across the country and our clients love the ease of use and the ability to know exactly where their project stands in terms of scheduling, change orders, payments etc. This system is an efficient and easy to use means of staying abreast of all aspects of a project but is never meant to take the place of voice or in person meetings.
>
> Our design staff made multiple onsite visits and conducted numerous phone conferences so the reference to lack of communication is perplexing. Moreover, Sandy Winslow, as Project Manager visits every job multiple times a week and did so with Mrs. Goldman's project. However, our field Leads are trained to execute our projects regardless of the number of visits by the Project Manager.
>
> After many years in business with hundreds of happy and satisfied clients and it should be important to point out not one bad review across multiple review sites, it is distressing to have a client that is unhappy. We would welcome the opportunity to discover the how and why of this unhappiness and to see if we could find a solution to make you happy with your project.
>
> We would appreciate an email or phone call to arrange a convenient time to discuss.
>
> Thank you again.

## Community Q&A

**Q: was the old brick added?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Love the old brick detail was it original or added?

A: The brick is original to the original use as a cotton mill in the 1800's.

**Q: Name and model of pendant lights? Love them!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: These are Currey & Company. We are a dealer and would be happy to assist you with an order.

**Q: Where did you find the finished ducts or did you paint them custom?** *(in Photo Questions)*

We are having difficulty locating a company that does prefinished colored insulated ducting in California. I notice that the exposed duct in the bedroom area appears to be a different silver than the standard. Was wondering how you achieved this/what supplier was used.

A: In this loft apartment we painted the ducts but in one of most recent project posts we actually changed the ducts to stainless steel.

**Q: Beautiful Design** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me where the tile and grout on the walls are from and which ones they are?

I am also interested in the cabinet paint color?

A: Hi Sherry! Yes, the tile is Crossville 3x6 Savoy. It appears to be Oyster Gray grout used. The cabinetry is from Dura Supreme and is the Moda V door style, Quarter Sawn Red Oak in Cocoa Brown. Thanks!

**Q: Love the pendants and the chairs!! Where are they from\>?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Chairs are by Uttermost....Lighting Currey and Company

**Q: Lights** *(in Photo Questions)*

Any information on those lights
Thanks

A: These are the Large Corsica Lanterns from Currey & Co.
