**★★★★★ — Discount Draperies, April 2019**

> Discount Draperies has worked with JML designs on quite a few projects over the years. Jeanne always has great ideas, creative concepts and really pulls the space together nicely. She is great to work with and always does a wonderful job from start to finish. I highly recommend this company.

**★★★★★ — Sue Becker, April 2016**

> Jeannie is a very creative clever designer. We enjoyed work together on our new home project and she truly does work "together," wanting to know both your preferences and style but also your insight and passions. We highly recommend her spirited input and talent; her imagination and design made this process a pleasure!

> This was a remodel of 2 rooms into one large space. The 2 rooms were originally a kitchen in one with a formal living room and dining area in the other. The wall separating the 2 rooms was removed. What was the living room is now a dining area, the kitchen was enlarged with a sitting area at the end of it. Ms. Lashmett was a complete professional and a great help with furnishing the space. The work was done in a timely fashion with any problems that arose solved to our satisfaction. We had a trip planned for 10 days and they graciously suspended work until we returned. We enjoy this space every day. Not only is it functional, it is beautiful to boot!

**★★★★★ — tsubsara, March 2015**

> We had a complete remodel of our lower level. It was a space measuring 13x41. JML Interior Design created three separate spaces, and made it cozy, functional and beautiful. We loved the finished product and we found them very easy to work with. Their ideas were what we were looking for and the finished product was above and beyond what we could have imagined.

**★★★★★ — dwward, March 2015**

> I hired JML to help me achieve my vision of a new "bigger" kitchen in a very small space. Jeanne was responsive, professional, timely and easy to work with.

**★★★★★ — rmckenzie3112, March 2015**

> I hired JML Interior Design to redesign my family room. The room was dated with more of a traditional taste while the rest of my home is very contemporary. I wanted to bring a sense of "city style" to the room with a very modern and cool contemporary flare. Jeanne was 1 of 3 interior designers I met with. She was the only designer willing to provide me a sketch of her ideas without charging me. The other designers believed their reputation should have landed them the job and did not want to spend time on sketching ideas unless I was willing to pay them by the hour to do so. Jeanne was willing to work to get the job and she did just that. When I saw her sketches I was sold on her vision. She then spent additional time to estimate the cost of the project so I could compare to the my budget. It was a bigger project than I had imagined and it came in over my budget. I was so excited about the look Jeanne wanted to create that I decided to move forward with the project. Jeanne was involved with every aspect of the project from start to finish. She organized everything with the contractor and worked diligently to keep the project on course. She provided progress reports and kept me informed. She spent a considerable amount of time on putting together furniture and accessory options. When it came to going and selecting light fixtures, furniture and accessories, she was there helping me make the right choices.

> The "Manhattan Room" looks amazing. It looks like the rendering Jeanne provided before we started the project. From the beginning, I was so excited about the vision she had for transforming this space. She certainly delivered with great precision. Anyone would be hard pressed to find a designer that is as talented, professional, and hardworking as JML Interior Design.

**★★★★★ — Cabinet Concepts, LLC, Dec. 2014**

> We have had the opportunity to work with Jeanne on several projects. It is such a pleasure to work with a professional that cares so much about her clients and the end result. The time and attention to detail she devotes to every project is impressive. Jeanne does a great job communicating with everyone throughout the process of a remodel. JML Interior Design would be a great asset on your next project!

**★★★★★ — CRAZYWALLS, Oct. 2014**

> I have worked with Jeanne on a couple projects over the last few months. Not only is she very talented and easy to work with, I am really impressed at how effective she is at keeping the projects rolling on schedule. She is also an ace at coordinating contractors, vendors and all the details.

 - Description: The home owners originally had three small rooms which were not being utilized to their fullest potential. The layout was very broken up and the rooms were extremely small. The homeowners wanted to "Lighten and Brighten" the space and also bring the style up to date to reflect their contemporary lifestyle. The solution was to remove the walls separating the original kitchen, dining and living room and to allow the rooms to come together as one contiguous space which could be used for relaxation…

 - Description: An incredible makeover for a home in South County that had the "1990s" look and needed an update to 2014! This particular client loves to cook, has lots of grandchildren, and loves to have her family and close friends by her as she is cooking up some amazing dishes in the kitchen! She loved the tranquility of soft colors such as breezy blues, calming whites, and soothing natural materials. (BUT she also wanted a dash of BLING!) And she got everything she wanted as oh so much more!

 - Description: A Beautiful Home in West St. Louis County that had an entire face lift! When the new owners purchased the home, they wanted to give it a look all its own and were drawn to the comforts and enchantments of the of the Old World and Tuscan style, but yet wanted a modern twist. Their new home is a true reflection of that and more! The neutral colored walls were painted with blends of soft golds and oranges, adding just the right warmth to give it that rich and yummy lived lived in look of home. The…

## Community Q&A

**Q: Is this solid wood or particle board?** *(in Product Questions)*

A: This cabinet is not wood-it's is mdf with a very thin veneer

**Q: Love the gray paint - please share color and brand** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Ralph Lauren-
absolute Gray

**Q: What do you think of this chandelier?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Thinking of changing chandelier in my dining room. The first picture is what is currently there. The second picture is what I'm thinking of getting.

A: Definitly need something in a darker finish like oil rubbed bronze-the one you are considering is too washed out

**Q: i love the couch were did you get it from love the colour** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Lazy Boy furniture

**Q: What company and color are the cabinets ?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What cabinet company and color ?

A: The cabinets are custom from Duanes cabinet shop-the color is London Fog

**Q: Help me accessorize my great room!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

our artist has finally completed our 8'x3' painting, and now i need to piece together this space.
i am trying to work the angles of this room, and LOVE the organic shape of the cow hide rug. (ie - i don't want to get rid of it!) what do i need to pull this space together - are the angles of the couches ok?
suggestions for what to put behind club chair? console table? vases? black/white artwork?
i will post some images of pieces i like, but would LOVE your input on whether they would be right for the space, or suggest alternatives.
thank you so much! i can't wait to finish this space. (it's been almost a YEAR!)

A: ok-maybe that'a not quite the vision I had with "squared off" -dont want to walk straight into space-need something seperating the area such as putting another sofa opposite the the one on backside of room with a sofa table behind it or something like that-chair on angle does not feel quite right-it looks like furniture is set up in a line wrapping from one wall to the next-just my thoughts-hopefully this has not become too overwhelming
