One can imagine where our minds were at when we needed to hire a new builder and restart our process in 2024. > > We vetted many companies in the Atlanta area before we decided to work with Red Level. We ended up having to scrape the original house, expand our dug-out basement, and build a new house with a new foundation. We had a positive experience with Red Level and their vendors through this stressful time. Bill was our project manager, and he is a guy who cares about doing the job well. He always has a positive, can-do attitude towards the work. Dan, John, Bill, Lilly, and everyone else we communicated with, never left us hanging - they were always responsive in a timely manner and helped set realistic expectations for the project. For example, they were honest about the amount of time it would take to complete the house, which we really appreciated. They delivered on integrity and quality. Because of our bungled first attempt at building our house, this process took us 3 years from the purchase of our property to finally moving in - it was well worth the wait and the second start to have it built by Red Level! Red Level’s framing and carpentry crew stayed at the house well after dark that evening ensuring that the tarps were secure, and only left after the winds and heavy rain had cleared out. We placed full confidence in the abilities of both Dan and John to guide the design and building processes, and we were completely at-ease even during some of the most challenging phases of the project. As one can imagine, a job that requires the roof to be removed from a 100-year-old house and then adding a second story can present quite a bit of challenges to work through. With Red Level though we knew that things would always be done right. Red Level’s communication during the 7-month project was exceptional. We would receive daily updates on the project and essentially immediate responses to any questions that we had about a specific detail. The ability to reach Dan or John at a moment’s notice was simply outstanding, and we believe was a cornerstone to the success of our project. The craftsman and sub-contractors that Red Level hires are second to none and you can tell that Red Level has been working with many of them for a very long time. We have been back in our home for 4 months now, and Red Level calls every month or so to simply check in or see if there is anything that needs to be taken care of since our move-in. Red Level is a company that prides themselves on delivering an exceptional product at a great value. We really could not imagine having worked with any other firm on our project, and we would absolutely hire Red Level again. It was simply a terrific experience.
