Scott came up with 5 different designs trying to make it a more functional kitchen without knocking out any walls. It was a big challenge as the house was built in 1927 on a small lot, so all the rooms are small. > > As a result of going through that process then consulting with my realtor about what a full remodel might net me in a higher sale price vs. just leaving the same ground plan and just doing some cosmetic improvements, I decided I had to do the smaller project. Scott never pressured me to take on more than I wanted to do and even reassured me that I lived in a neighborhood that was so desirable that the house would probably sell for a good price even without a major kitchen full remodel. > > He then was able to recommend a contractor he worked with a lot who did take smaller jobs to put in some new flooring, sand and refinish the existing cabinets and put in new countertops.
