The company was created in July 2001 in Cornelius, North Carolina by John Shryock. John has since grown the company to span build locations ranging from the classic neighborhoods of South Charlotte, to the horse estates of Statesville and Sherrill's Ford, to the relaxing beauty on Lake Norman.

Each one of his employees are awesome and the superintendent Jeff O’Neal has hit a grand slam with our home. Artisan went above and beyond helping us get supplies and specialty contractors and keeping the project moving along. My wife was very specific with what she wanted in our forever home and they were there each step and even made several excellent recommendations along the way. We had a wonderful experience building with them and that says a lot considering this was right after the pandemic and literally the worst time to build in a persons lifetime. Jeff was super accommodating meeting us many times after hours since we lived 2 hours away during the build. At times we were stressed and worried but they got us through it. We would build with them again without hesitation and we love our home.

**Q: Love the floors, what are they?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Would love to know the color and material of the flooring?

A: The tile for for the floor of that room is Alta Crema Brick Porcelain Tile that we got from Floor and Decor.  The SKU is 100216134 and the size is 2 x 10.  It was laid in a herringbone pattern. Thanks!

**Q: what are the exterior dimensions of this?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I’m building something similar and am curious if it is big enough to do a layout like this.

A: The garage was 80' x 50'.  It had four 10' openings and one 14' opening for an RV - (that is the door that is open)

**Q: Brick mortar and exterior colors** *(in Photo Questions)*

What mortar/sand color was used with the Cypress Moss brick? And what are the exterior colors of the house? Particularly the main color and the white trim?

A: We had to use white sand and ivory buff mortar to get the sand mortar to look white. I believe the trend on the house was just a white white. Typically we would have had the trim color match the window color which would've been brilliant white by Jeld Wen.

A: It is a T&G ceiling V-groove board painted the trim color - BM -OC-17 White Dove. Not white washed.  Thanks

This is a beautiful project, with a perfect color palette. Thanks so much for sharing!

A: The color of the exterior shakes will be a solid color stain from Sherwin-Williams. The color is Caribou it and is listed as SW3025 - Caribou.  The exterior stone for the house is a thin veneer and is Tennessee Field Stone in a dry stack .

Shingles

A: The shingles are made by Certainteed and the style is the landmark shingle. The color is charcoal black.
