Working with Katie and Susquehanna Design was by far the best part of the entire experience. From beginning to end, Katie was incredibly professional and expertly helped us navigate and visual what would work best for our new closet space. She went above and beyond by even providing us temporary wardrobe space when our home was built but didn't have the closets installed yet. This is top-notch customer service in my opinion, and it was a life-save for us as well. > > Where other contractors asked to see our blueprints and gave us a couple choices based solely on the blueprints, Katie took a far better approach and actually listened to us. She not only asked for the blueprints, but she asked us to send her pictures of our current closet and wardrobe usage, measurements of the space we're using, and wanted to get an overall feel for what kinds of clothes we're looking to store. What she came back with what incredible! She was able to effectively leverage every inch of available space to really make the most impact in our storage. Basically- in and out. > When he completed the ugliest, cracked, spotty unfinished cement floor in our garage- we had renewed floor looking like terrazzo or granite. > He also added boarders to cover those cement bricks which were sticking on the perimeter of the garage and sealed everything. > Now we enjoy a neat, clean, easy to maintain floor with high shine and slip- resistant texture. > The durability of this floor stands up to extreme cold winter, grime and road salt that comes along. The materials are super heavy duty, and will last forever. It's pricey, but I doubt there is a better, more durable or user friendly storage system (shelves, hangers for bikes, tools, etc) out there. The winter weather left soot & salt stains on the floor. I cleaned them up easily with a bucket of water, Dawn dish soap & a mop. My husband's old car leaks oil & these stains cleaned up easily as well with the same cleaning solution. Jay Witmer was friendly & efficient. The project was completed in the time frame that we were given. He followed up with us after completion to make sure that we were satisfied with the result. The flooring comes in many colors too.
