This was my first time using pool zoom . Matt in the San Antonio 281 Hwy store helped me alot . He actually drove all the way to supplier ware house himself in order to get my order right away. I will never forget what he has done. The price of item was also lower than any where else I called today. I will always use PoolZoom from now on . Reason was the product had no in stock date from manufacturer and would simply take to long to deliver. After contacting the manufacturer myself they said in fact no it’s the normal 5 day turnaround. Letting poolzoom know they completley changed their story to freight cost increased. Now they said they would keep my order only if I paid freight costs of $635. The entire freight cost. Not the amount it increased by. Honesty goes a long way. Instead I got fed lies and tried to be gouged. Horrible company **★ — Edna Perkins, Dec. 2017** > TERRIBLE! > They posted misleading shipping info, followed by very slow service, so that my item had still not shipped 3 days after i ordered it with what appeared to be 2 day shipping. So then I was desperate enough to pay $150 for overnight. However, they did not ship it in time to get on the truck for next day delivery, so that was $150 wasted. Besides, they they were very unpleasant to deal with. Yes, they're cheap, but clearly not worth it! **★ — Warren Pendleton, Aug. 2017** > We purchased a Dolphin Triton with PowerStream Robotic Pool Cleaner from PoolZoom on July 24, 2017, Order \#1099255645. We received the Triton Robotic Pool Cleaner on July 27, 2017. The next day we used the Triton Robotic Pool Cleaner for the first time. It does not clean our 14,000 gal fiberglass pool, especially in the shallow end of the pool that is 3 ft deep. At this end of the pool, the Triton appears to blow the dirt up on the pool steps, which are not cleaned, and into the corners of the pool, where the dirt remains. Also, the cable was tangled. It defeats the purpose of having a robotic cleaner if we still need to clean the pool manually. We do like the ease of cleaning the collection cage in the Triton which is pulled from the top of the pool cleaner. > On July 31, 2017, I contracted PoolZoom and talked to Alex. I explained to Alex the shortcomings listed above. We exchanged several ideas on the Triton Pool cleaner issues, which did not appear to be malfunctions. I asked about exchanging the Triton for another Dolphin Pool Cleaner during our conversation. Alex recommended contacting Maytronics to see if there is any trouble shooting that can be performed. If not to call him back and we will work out a solution. > I immediately contacted Maytronics and discussed the issues with the Triton with Power PowerStream Robotic Pool Cleaner. Maytronics did not believe there were any malfunctions with this pool cleaner and advised calling PoolZoom back to discuss an exchange. I called PoolZoom and talked to Karen. I explained to Karen that I had talked to Alex who stated that I call back to discuss an exchange of the Dolphin Triton Robotic Pool Cleaner. Karen stated Alex was not available and PoolZoom does not allow any exchanges once the equipment has been used. This does not make sense. How do you know if the equipment works unless you use it. I asked for Karen to wait and discuss with Alex when he returned. Karen stated she would do that and return my call within 1 hour. I believed Karen would call me back, but it is now several hours later and I have not received a call from PoolZoom. > PoolZoom has demonstrated very poor customer support. As a Maytronics distributor, consumers should expect more from PoolZoom. > > I would not buy any pool equipment from PoolZoom if you need to use that equipment to determine if it works properly. **★ — Bruce H, Feb. 2017** > If you are looking for an online retailer to purchase your specialty pool hardware from - don't use these guys.
