> I arranged with my realtor to meet with Mr. Campbell of Traditions General Contracting to provide a written estimate of costs associated with renovating a specific home on July 11, 2016. The cost I paid to have him meet at the property for what amounted to somewhat less than hour was $250.00 He did meet with the agent and shared that the home renovation would require more than the $40k the selling agent thought. Mr. Campbell said that he would work up a written estimate and forward me the numbers within a few days. Needless to say that did not happen nor did I hear back from Mr. Campbell. In addition, the home went under contract but I still would like to have had that report since I paid for an estimate as well as his time. I emailed Mr. Campbell on July 30, 2016 to followup and share my disappointment that I was not given the information he promised. Mr. Campbell responded to my email with an apology and offered to assess the next property for free. I have contacted Mr. Campbell twice since that offer on July 30, 2016 but cannot get a response from him. In addition, the home came back on the market that I had him meet my agent at. I still have no idea what the renovation would require unless I pay another contractor to give me that information. More importantly, Mr. Campbell appears to not have any intention on making good on his promise to assess the next property for free. The conclusion I've drawn is if Mr. Campbell is not capable of providing the statement of work I paid for he certainly isn't trustworthy enough to perform the work needed to renovate that property nor any other once payment is made.

> I am a first time home buyer and my new home needed several repairs. I happened to visit a friend in the plush new apartment complex at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Southeast above the Harris Teeter and loved some of the work that was done. I researched and called Traditions General Contracting who were kind enough to listen and answer all of my silly or minute questions. The work the did in basement and bathroom was truly Immaculate. I'm happy every time I shower. Professionalism, expertise and cost effectiveness are understatements for these guys.
