> Landforms designed and installed a yard transforming paver patio and garden path for us. From the detailed design and proposal, assistance in choosing materials, and the crew that worked tirelessly with expert craftsmanship, we are very happy with the end result. **★★★★★ — Brent Krahn, Dec. 2019**

> Brian's Team did an outstanding job for us this year. We were in need of some landscape alterations which included cutting into an existing blue-stone patio and adding additional drainage along our foundation.
>
> Prior to starting the project Brian was extremely responsive and adhered to the timeline to do our project. This was extremely important in choosing Landforms.
>
> We would highly recommend Landforms!

**Comment from Landforms:**

> With such a beautiful existing landscape we were just happy to be a part of it. Now with the new drainage system and the downspouts ejecting far away from your home, everything should be high and dry. Thank you for choosing Landforms as your storm water management contractor of choice.

**★★★★★ — Kelly Keith, Dec. 2019**

> WOW!! What a huge difference their work made! Landforms transformed our tired, old landscaping beds with beautiful rock, flowers and bushes. It seriously updated the look of our home instantly. We have received so may complements from the neighbors and their work was so beautiful we did not even need additional flowers for a wedding reception we hosted. They are professional and so easy to work with. Highly recommend!

**Comment from Landforms:**

We can't wait to complete phase 2 in the spring.

**★★★★★ — Amy Scholl, Aug. 2019**

**Comment from Landforms:**

> Angela,
> It was quite a transformation. Going from overgrown and deer eaten. To the clean, colorful and deer resistant landscape we have today. Even though we had a limited planting palette to choose from dealing with both deer and shade. Your vision for the space complimented by our horticultural expertise made for a stunning entranceway. We look forward to working with you and your family on the next project.

**★★★★★ — Barbara Watkins, Aug. 2019**

> Excellent service, quality work. Great people. We have been very pleased with the timely manner in which the project was completed.

**Comment from Landforms:**

> Thank you Barbara. We were thrilled to be a part of your project and were very happy with the outcome. Transitioning the walkway with the seating wall thru the garden beds pulled the whole landscape together. Thank you for choosing Landforms.

**★★★★★ — Sara Hammerschmidt, Aug. 2019**

> Brian and his team did an outstanding job on our backyard renovation, from original concept to crossing the finish line. We loved the ideas that Brian developed for our patio project (very distinct from other concepts we saw), which was basically starting from a blank slate, and the landscaping and plants look wonderful and are fairly low maintenance too. We definitely recommend Landforms for any landscape work!

**Comment from Landforms:**

> Sara, We really enjoyed working with you and your family. Starting from a blank canvas and ending with a multifunctional space with separate areas for cooking relaxing and kids. We were happy to be a part of it. Thank you for your business.

**★★★★★ — Eric Hilten, Dec. 2018**

> Brian and his staff were great to work with. They came up with a great design for our backyard. He stayed within our budget and we are extremely happy with the finished product. I would highly recommend Landforms for any landscaping project.

**Comment from Landforms:**

> Eric it was a pleasure working with you and your family. We are looking forward to coming back next spring to landscape your pool.

**★★★★★ — Paul Alberts, Aug. 2018**

> Landforms is the landscaping company that our home owners association uses, which is why we originally choose to do business with them. They performed a number of projects at our home and we could not be more satisfied. It was a very hot dry time of the summer when they completed the project and they went above and beyond to make sure our landscapping was properly watered. They even replaced some sod on their own without being ask that failed to take. These days it's difficult to find a company that lives up to their claims but these guys do.

**Comment from Landforms:**

> Paul,
> Thank you for your review. We really enjoyed working with you and your wife. It is not everyday that we get to install a 5" balled and burlaped pear. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you. Thank you for choosing Landforms.

**★★★★★ — Adam Savalli, July 2018**

> Excellent prompt service. Nice staff that works hard to ensure satisfaction. Had a hard time finding a good company, glad I found landforms.

**Comment from Landforms:**

> Mr. Savalli,
> Thank you for your review. Our team enjoyed working with you and your family. Please let us know if there is anything We can help you with in the future.

It was essential for our clients to have broad, sturdy steps to walk up and down with their grandchildren. To help keep the natural look, we went with several natural fieldstone walls, carving out plenty of room for planting beds that the homeowners plan to do themselves. From 3-4' down to 2-3' boulders. ## Community Q&A

**Q: Stone wall** *(in Photo Questions)*

What kind of material is the stone wall and color?

A: Great use of space. Incorporating the floating bench keeps the space clean and open. Nice Job

**Q: what size are your pavers? This is a beautiful clean looks-Thanks** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: They look great

**Q: Great work!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Deciding between a below grade walkout and an egress window. Can you say what this approx cost?

A: This was a very involved project. The landscape side of it was app. $20k. However we included our architect and engineer. The foundation under the newly formed door way needed to be excavated and made deeper since now the bottom of the basement floor would be exposed to the frost. Drainage also had to be addressed since we were creating a large hole next to the foundation. I would say that total cost would be $35-50k

**Q: Help with landscape design** *(in Landscape Design)*

Hi all-I am ready to gut my current landscaping and go with a more minimalist and linear design. DROOL over some of the concrete walls/planters I have seen, but would guess they are pricey. I would love to perhaps spend less money on bushes and more on a wall but need ideas. Thanks so much :)

A: A simple stacked stone wall in front of the door would give you a little height and move you in the direction you are going for. The stacked stone would be much easier and less expensive than a concrete planter. Keeping with a minimalist design, it is important to carefully select your plants. Plant from low to high gaining height closer to the home. It will give a proper scale. I would remove all of the yucca, yews and the green plant next to the drive. Keep the Japanese maple. Grasses go really well in a minimalist design with boxwood or daylily. Maybe put some burning bush or purple sand cherry on the left side of the house for height. Incorporate some perennials for a pop of color and you will be all set. Best of luck.www.landformsinc.com

**Q: New Shop and Storage for Contracting business** *(in Before & After)*

A: Great building. What an outstanding shop

**Q: Landscaping** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hi there,

Wondering if you could tell me the landscaper for this project?

Thanks!

A: Great blend of color and texture. How are the plants irrigated?
