While we found a contractor on our own, Bob and Mike stayed in touch with us during the building process to make a few adjustments here and there based on the contractor's comments, as well as making a site visit during the renovation to ensure all was going according to plan. Posts are treated lumber 6x6 posts wrapped with built-up cedar trim and moulding. The single wide flutes in the posts were created with a very large router. The rails and spindles are all treated lumber.
