We sought a designer who would respect the feel of the home as built, taking into account the lovely garden views out each window and the architecture of the building. She visited the house at different times of day to get a sense of the lighting.  She showed us hundreds of samples of wall coverings and fabrics to help us understand what was available.  She even went to the library and checked out a book for us on Arts and Crafts-period homes.  She helped us create a beautiful, child-friendly home in which each room has its own personality while fitting together with the other rooms.  Visitors catch their breath the moment they walk through the front door.  They are drawn to the inviting kitchen, the cozy parlor, and the vibrant sun room.  It is a dream come true.
