## Community Q&A

**Q: POLL: Black exterior paint - Yes or No?** *(in Polls)*

A black exterior can be striking! How do you feel about it? Is it a big Yes for you or an absolute No?

VOTE and tell us about it in the comments!

A: Simple architectural geometry can wear black fine, just as Victorian vernacular can. As with many choices in design, it may not be the most practical, but provides statement. Cheers!

**Q: Colour Suggestions?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I'm looking for ideas on what colour to paint our front doors and stairs. Thanks

A: Yes, symmetry helps to balance it.

**Q: Paint color recommendations** *(in Design Dilemma)*

This is the exterior of my new-to-me home. I am not crazy about the exterior paint colors. For now, I can't change the dark brown, but would like to change the yellow/tan panels and the front door color. Can anyone recommend a good color scheme? Thanks!

A: Please see my exteriors section for a view of Swatt/Miers, if you are not mocking, lol...
