Everything was dated (old brown wood clamshell casing and baseboard, awful 1960s hollow-core doors, dark wood paneling, tattered curtains, very dark rooms without adequate lighting, lack of furnishings and dated light fixtures) but the house had good "bones," fine workmanship and some lovely architectural elements. Deborah specified new trimwork, doors, door hardware and paint colors and added much needed overhead lighting which have totally transformed my home. Our old non-descript marble floors, now refinished, are just stunning, as are all the fixtures she selected. Everything is bright and beautiful and our home is a lovely backdrop for the furnishings which she has helped to select.
