I don't know what to do with my bathroom!** *(in Home Decorating)* My current bathroom is just not working for me anymore and I am trying to make some minor updates but not sure where to start. I would like to paint the room but not sure what color - I've thought about olive/hunter greens and many versions of white but not sure what would work the best with the undertones I have in my floor and shower tile. The cabinet hardware is new, as is the shower curtain rod so I plan to keep those but I do not want to replace the shower fixtures, which are chrome. I would be open to changing the sink faucets (currently chrome), mirrors, and the vanity lights (currently chrome). I also plan to paint the crown, walls, and possibly the ceiling all the same color. I'm not a fan of the tile floor so I would like it to blend in well as we may change it to a french oak style LVP at some point in the future. I have three bathrooms that look like this bathroom (same color scheme, fixture colors, and hardware, along with my laundry room so whatever I do, I plan to replicate in the other rooms. The flooring for our main bathroom has to be this greige marble lvp that will run from the bedroom into the bathroom. I am one of the few people in the world who HATE greige (my husband picked the bedroom materials and colors). I prefer cooler colors. The house design scheme is transitional mountain. Lots if wood, stone, and natural materials. He is determined to do a lvp wall tile in the bathroom. I have a shower tile I love, and a wall tile I love. However, I am not the best judge of what will go with the greige flooring. How bad is this combo? A: It doesn't look like those colors go together, perhaps looking at some designs of ours will aid you here. Take note of the flooring and colors used. **Q: Backsplash recommendations for White Shaker Lavasa quartz & Greek Vill** *(in Design Dilemma)* Calling all folks who have gone through the backsplash analysis paralysis or used above combination of White Shaker with Lavasa Quartz and Greek Villa paint to offer any recommendations for backsplash I have champagne bronze hardware and some tones of ORB throughout the home and that’s why was inclined towards Lavasa with very subtle brown and grey veining . Baes on my research Cloe tile seems to a real favorite but has definitely grey tones -and variations when installed. Would ideally prefer all white undertones or tile with little bit of very subtle beige variations to tie it all together. A: It might be a good idea to go get samples from a tile store and take photos with your current lighting to see how it looks. A lot of times if you change your bulbs to LEDs it'll make the tiles look a lot better.
