**Q: I need of help Please** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I would like to make this living area modern but keep the colors help me please. also is a picture of my dinning room I would love to make this area a little more up beat...

A: If you do nothing else, change the lighting...it's killing the ambiance of your elegant space. like high beams in an interrogation room! Secondly, the furniture and accessories need lighter and cooler updating. Get away from the brown accessories and wall art in the dining area. Consider new artwork, prints, and brighter, table decor. Disclosure: I am not a decorator but an artist...once you've got the lighting add one or two paintings or art prints to inspire a new color scheme and accessories. Your neutral wall color in fine...
