My wife and I were also pleased by the young and well-mannered gentleman Ben, who showed up to take the measurements at our house! Andrei assisted us and told us to come in to view the actual quartz/granite slabs we were interested in. Good thing we did as the one we thought would work, did not, but we found one that worked perfectly. The men who did the installation were on time and even called 1/2 hour ahead to measure and install a week later. They did a fantastic job, asking me my opinion on how to go around the wood trim. He made it fit perfectly and it looked much better than what we had before. Andrei and the entire staff were very professional and helpful in assisting us with picking out the best product for our project. In our case, Andrei claimed the tile they installed was to blame for the poor and erratic spacing between the pieces. He had no issues taking the money for the installation, but when it came to answering for the poor workmanship he shifted blame to escape accountability. A novice was able to take the leftover tile and confirm the issue was with the installer and not the tile - the pictures tell the story. First happened 4 years ago with my home office desktop. Installation was seamless. This year we had our kitchen counter installed, a much larger job. Our countertop choice was honed Absolute Black granite. Purchased via Mario and, due to my contractor, had to reschedule the measuring and install. They were accommodating, friendly and timely. A few days after install, my husband noticed a few oil smudges....I called to see if they were able to fix that issue for me. Andre, the co-owner, came out. Not only did he correct the problem, he was also there when he said he would be (no waiting all day) and super friendly and knowledgeable. > Bottom line, they did what they said they were going to do and when I had any issues, they rectified them. **★ — lori, May 2016** > I am going to be as respectful as possible but this transaction that did not happen has been a nightmare. several weeks ago I gave this company a deposit and chose a Quartz countertop expecting that this countertop would be installed by now. Two weeks ago I was informed that the Quartz that I chose was not available in the size that would fit my kitchen. I was told to relax they would find the material to complete the job. Today I was informed that they would have to refund my deposit. Which would be fine but for the fact that they have removed my backsplash and drilled holes in my existing countertop. It does not seem reasonable to me that a company selling quartz is not familiar with the available sizes of the slabs from various manufactures. Its hard to believe that Cutting Edge Granite feels that it is acceptable to return my deposit and leave my kitchen in its current state of disrepair.
