While it was a relatively small project compared to the magnitude of other projects they have completed, she made us feel like our job was important to her, meeting with us on three separate occasions.  At the first meeting she helped us to understand that our scope of work was well beyond our budget, but she quickly suggested an alternate plan that more than met all of our goals and was within our budget.  She exceeded our expectations in both her design skills and timeliness in providing our plans.  She also offered to meet with our builder, should he have any questions.  Cherri is a very personable, yet professional person.  We cannot recommend Atkins Design Group highly enough.

> We chose the Atkins Design Group to design a home for our empty-nest stage after seeing the Village Park Eco Home built by Wayne Atkins of Sterling Brook Homes. Wayne recommended Cherri Atkins of Atkins Design Group because she handles the design side of many of his projects. They have been a delight to work with, especially as we explored some of the extra details we want, including an elevator, roof water collection system, and solar. Both Cherri and Wayne have arranged appointments and joined us when visiting examples of some of these special items. They both have vast experience in home design and building. Cherri has been very patient with us going through various iterations to get to the final floor plan. She has been able to take what we say and what we post in our Houzz account to come up with a vision that we are very happy with. She has great listening skills and understands, possibly due to years of collaborating with Wayne, what details can cause problems during the building phase. It's always good to work through those things before construction starts. Cherri promptly returns messages and turn around on each step has moved very efficiently. We are at the stage of choosing appliances and Cherri has done research to find the most appropriate products for our high-end home at the best prices. This review covers the design consultations and floor plans. We have not started construction, yet.

They are a husband and wife team that we like to refer to as the dynamic duo!!  Always available to answer questions and explain things!  Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat. In fact, I already have!  Everyone says what a headache building a house is and how stressful. Although there is always some level of stress involved, I found it to be a super fun and amazing experience!  I credit Cheri and Wayne Atkins for much of that!

Can you give me any more information on the stone around this fireplace and the light fixture?

A: That stone is Granbury, a local Texas stone. Thank you for your interest.

**Q: What color brick was used in this image, texture and size please?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I have your answer. We put Acme Brick's Old Ft. Smith in king size on that project. I have specified that particular brick a several houses and it always looks great.
